Have known Dinesh for many years from the Khyber restaurant days. No matter where I go, I haven't yet found an Indian restaurant that comes close. Would recommend the chili chicken, one of the signature dishes. Great service for both takeaway and eating in 5/5!
Been here a few times and each time, it has been fantastic. Dinesh is so attentive and the food is just amazing. This is literally our favourite Indian now. We will always choose here to eat in or takeaway.
A delicious experience from start to end. The service is fantastic and the food is clearly cooked with passion. Generous portions rich in flavour. The tandoori king prawns are by far the best I have ever tasted. This is definitely the best Indian take out in the whole of Leicester. Looking forward to the next one!
Nice food, Kenyan Indian style food. I enjoyed. Prompt service too. Spice level wasn’t what I was expecting (medium spice wasn’t spicy for me at all). Other than that I would recommend
I just want to start by saying that I honestly can not recommend Khyber Nights enough - without doubt, it is the best Indian restaurant you will find in Leicester. Delicious, fresh Indian Cuisine, clearly made with passion and authenticity - the depth of flavour is unmatched in comparison with the region.
This place is also meticulous in providing the best experience for its customers. From the host, Dinesh, a genuinely caring and polite restaurant owner, to its delivery which is packaged in a way that keeps the food fresh, hot and to its intended texture. You will not find a restaurant which emulates traditional Indian cuisine better.
Another word on the owner Dinesh, a man who takes immense pride in his food, delivers consistently high level food. As much as one can tell him his food is excellent, Dinesh is eager for feedback for any possible improvements.
I recommend this place so so highly, and I am in no doubt that anyone who tries Khyber Nights will have a fantastic experience.
Absolutely delighted that you and your talented chef are back in business. Food just as excellent as before. We tried half a dozen other places whilst you were away, but none of them came even close. I confess that I have only just met Dinesh. Huge regret that we did not know you while you still had the restaurant, Dinesh. But I would like to thank you here, publicly, for your kindness in bringing us two lovely meals today. Folks, I confess that my wife and I found that our ancient palates could not quite take the degree of chili heat that comes with Khyber Nights' normal meals. When Dinesh discovered that, he absolutely insisted on bringing us two more meals, milder but still packed with flavour. All the way out to Markfield, with his compliments! And for us oldies, the dishes were perfect. Yes, really. Thank you Dinesh. Joan says that the Kashmiri Chicken was the best she's ever had. I agree, and we've both been curry lovers all our lives.
Perhaps the best kept secret hidden away in Leicester! Great food, with skilful cooking using the best ingredients at affordable prices. Having previously dined at the 'Khyber Restaurant' we were pleased to see Dinesh re-emerge at his new premises. We recently dined at 'The Chef's Table' for a lunchtime business meeting, what a lovely cosy dining experience. Thanks Dinesh and team, we will definitely be back! All the best John & Sonia x
The takeway I had from here was excellent! Normally I don't like to veer away from usual indian takeaway, but on recommendation from a few colleagues, I had to try it and I was not disappointed! The Rajasthani chicken curry was so full of flavour and cooked perfectly!
Dinesh recommended the chilli chicken and it hit the spot! One of best starters I've eaten in a long time!

Ordered couple of vegan dishes, saag and mixed veg both were excellent in taste and flavours. I will definitely return again and try out the other dishes on the menu. They were prompt in getting the food ready for collection, fairly priced and I even had a good conversation with Dinesh before my departure, lovely guy highly recommended! 😉
This is the best restaurant ever. All staff are very friendly and polite. Dinesh uncle always makes sure food is cooked to high standards and its always very tasty. Even my 7 year old looks forward to our Saturday night takeaway.Thanks uncle. Keep up the good work. :-)
Well, what a fabulous meal. Picked up 3kg of Pramod’s most excellent chicken tikka for the bbq tonight along with Special salad and fried aubergine sides.
Absolutely melt in the mouth delicious.

A truly authentic Indian restaurant,had the best takeaway ever! Lamb and chicken dishes were cooked to perfection and the vegetarian options were fantastic. Every dish tasted different.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dinesh through a friend, and was immediately impressed about his knowledge of Indian food and contrasting flavours.
Khyber Nights is certainly one not to be missed, ask for Dinesh's recommendations and you will not be disappointed.
I have been going to Khyber from when I was a toddler and now grown up and got a daughter of my own. She now goes to Khyber as well and enjoys the food as much as I do.
Dinesh and the team are always friendly, welcoming and professional. Food is absolutely amazing, consistent and on point.
I would recommend anyone that hasn't tried Khyber's food, you must and you will know what I mean and you will not be disappointed.
