They have done a really good refurbishment of the place. It feels and looks great. We went for maharaja thali, and it was all worth it. Food quality and taste are reasonable, but what wins the 5 star is the service from the staff. Well-spoken and personal attention wins all the stars. It's not an expensive place, yet the menu offers a variety of options. I strongly recommend a visit if you are in the area. Parking can be tricky.

Food was lovely. Nice decor inside. Feels like Indian restaurant. Only flaw was service. Guy who served us wasn't smiling and no communication. But overall thumbs up.

This place is a very good cafe/restaurant for Gujarati food. It’s an Indian (Gujarati) restaurant with loads of vegetarian options. They have unlimited dishes. They also serve different dishes like on Friday/Saturday/Sunday (Maharaja dish). We went on Saturday we ordered maharaja dishes. Love this Place. The staff members are also good, friendly & helpful. They also suggest us dishes. Definitely recommend it! The service was really fast. Ambience was spot on.

We visited for dinner this evening and were very impressed. We literally had no idea what most of the dishes on the menu were but we like exploring so we’re ok with this, especially as the staff were so attentive and helpful. We had a starter each and a main course. The chaat samosa and puri were especially good as was the thali, veg curry, nice and roti, not to mention mango lassi. A very enjoyable evening with interesting tasty food at reasonable in a comfortable and informal atmosphere. Would recommend

The service was excellent. Food tasty and the atmosphere was like dining out at a friend's house. Would definitely recommend. Eat in Thali is unlimited but I couldn't even finish the first Thali! Thanks

We placed an order for a Maharaja Thali which was nice as it has a variety of items in there and only available on limited days. We also ordered the desi bites special chip butty, paneer hakka noodles, chilli paneer and soya burger. Those who ate enjoyed the food and said they would order again. Inside the restaurant it looks welcoming and they have done a good job with interior decor as it looks much better now 👍

10/10 for everything. This was my first time trying Desi Bites and it didn't disappoint. The ladies that served us were lovely and helpful, I asked for my Thali to be vegan and they were happy to accommodate. I asked if their Pani Puri was vegan and they checked and confirmed, and even when we didn't realise the closing time was 8pm they were so nice about it. They also recommended the fresh passion fruit juice which was really nice. The food was very reasonably priced especially as the Gujarati Thali was unlimited. The taste was out of this world good, absolutely delicious.
