This has got to be one of the best coffee shops, if not the best coffee shop in Leicester. OK I know that's a big statement but let me explain...
The coffee on offer is very extensive. When you see the coffee menu it might be overwhelming. Don't worry just speak to one of the super friendly barristas, tell them it's your first time to the coffee shop and they'll ask you questions based on how you like your coffee. They'll recommend or give you options of a blend to use for your chosen coffee. They are very knowledgeable and very passionate about coffee.
The food is amazing and I would highly recommend, the cake selection is extensive. Great place to take your laptop and work although laptops are not permitted on weekends.
It's fantastic that all the meats that they use in their food is halal!

The atmosphere is great, the space looks great and has a very smart clean and modern architectural style. It is always kept very clean and and the atmosphere is so relaxed.
The coffee is the best, and the staff are so knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations. The food is so good and the selection of sandwiches and cakes are great. We love the Avo Toast and Banana Bread!

Went there for coffee date with my personal barista, my husband who recently picked up interest and passion in coffee making. I'm glad he enjoyed the experience. I love the vibe, with the indoor plants 😍 oh and they serve halal options too👍 i have been cafe hopping and would see and rate how baby friendly the places are. As for this place, i give 4/5 for the fact that it only lacks a baby changing table in the toilet. The space is relatively buggy friendly, just small step at the entrance, there's space to park the pushchairs ( maybe can fit 3 max in front of the toilet ) and there's a highchair too. I would definitely look forward to go there again with the mammas friends 😍 for ladies date over cuppa and delicious food.
A real gem amongst the rough. I think it’s safe to say the Leicester coffee scene leaves a lot to be desired, so it was a real pleasure finding this place. It would be at home on any street in Melbourne, Copenhagen or Berlin. Tasty coffee that’s well extracted and milk steamed correctly every time. A commitment to quality and consistency.
This is a very unique independent cafe hidden in stoney gate area it’s very casual and cosy vibes and I love the greenary of plants. The cusp service was excellent and coming to to coffee it was superb smooth creamy and a tad bitter. Coming to the main bit the food was delicious I went for the avo toast it come with a green oil dressing it was awesome.

Absolutely love this place. The staff are all awesome and SUPER knowledgeable about coffee... as for the coffee, it's DOPE! If you are a coffee lover, you have to pay a visit to The Coffee Obsessive. Just ask the team what's banging on the day and they will sort you out. I live locally and my week generally revolves around visits to the shop for the coffee, the vibes and the community. I absolutely love this coffee shop. Of all the places I have been, Coffee Obsessive is my favourite. They introduced me to pourovers and quality coffee. If I'm ever having a bad day I will walk over and get a coffee and a slice of cake (all of which are delicious) and it changes my whole mood - not just experiencing the new flavours of whichever special coffee they are serving that week, but also the positive and friendly atmosphere. The Best Coffee shop in Leicester hands down. The guy just knows what he's doing and you can tell he loves what he does, he's completely obsessed with Coffee! I used to have 2 sugars in my coffee as it always tasted bitter, its the total opposite here. You can really tastes all the flavours and its sweet enough without sugar.

Brilliant coffee shop, with such an interesting menu, and the best flat white I have EVER had (and I frequent a lot of coffee shops). You'll need to search in the back streets for it, it's on Francis St. I wish I could stay here all day.

When you walk into a store and there’s a cupping score next to the coffee selection you know you’re in for a treat. This might just be the most beautiful coffee shop I’ve had the pleasure of visiting. Everything is meticulously laid out and feels like you’re walking into the mind of someone who is, as the name suggests, obsessed with coffee.
The owner knows precisely what coffee he’s serving, from the origins, to the notes, to the best combination for each blend. This culminated into a coffee experience that is very very difficult to come by.
The espresso was by a mile better than any I had tried in the last decade. Perfect temperature, full bodied, and a pleasure to drink. The pour over was just on a different level. Clarity unlike any other, each note distinguishable, and as smooth as 600 gallons of double cream.
Even if you’re not a true coffee fanatic the food menu offers a fantastic selection, and caters for a variety of dietary requirements. I pulled the trigger on a sweet potato sourdough sandwich and each mouthful was as good as the previous.
Even if you’re not a coffee fanatic, the coffee obsessive is a must visit.
If you are a crazy coffee person, this is paradise. There’s a brilliant selection of coffee beans to choose from and the owner is so knowledgeable that he’ll help you decide regardless of how specific your preferences may be.

There are so many choices of #vegan cake and other food. The coffee is exquisite! The barrista, Iqbal, is definitely coffee obsessive, he ensures the best coffee experience, providing traditional as well experimental coffee. This coffee place is definitely a MUST.
If you're into good coffee CO has got you! Relaxed environment, amazing staff, wouldn't think about starting my day without going here first!

Holy moly the long black coffee I got from here was delicious. You can tell they really care about the beans they source and make sure it's ground and prepared to bring out the best flavours.
