Just had our first takeaway from here and it was absolutely delicious! Arrived before the designated time and was piping hot and obviously freshly made. The duck was to be shredded by us so it was succulent and juicy and not dry and dull like other places. Spring rolls were crisp and not greasy at all. Ribs were delicious and the meat was falling off of the bone. Highly recommend it and will definitely be our new “go to” Chinese.
Have used Hong Kong Taste for 6 months or so can not fault them in any way, the food is fantastic, delivery is super fast considering we live in Groby and always hot best Chinese around won't be using anywhere else. Well deserved 5*
I ordered and paid online and chose to collect as I live locally. My order was ready when I arrived and I was greeted warmly by the new owners who seemed very happy to meet me. Not experienced that before in a chinese takeaway, usually lucky if you get a grunt!
Food was delicious, piping hot and tasted freshly cooked. Great experience all round. So glad we now have a decent Chinese in Ratby. Keep it up! And we'll keep coming!
I don't usually review takeaways unless they're dirty and have poor food. HOWEVER having used Hong Kong taste on 3 separate occasions I have to say the food is amazing and delivered HOT. So very pleased to have a great Chinese in Ratby. The set meal for 2 is great value and just enough spice in the Black bean sauce that it didn't overpower the tender beef. Delivery staff are fantastic and chirpy. Will be using you again very soon.
Having recently moved to Ratby we tried Hong Kong Taste. We were very Impressed.
Both myself and my partner are chefs, and we thought it was excellent.
Great flavours, all clearly cooked fresh. Not at all greasy and not overly rich.
Very prompt on collection time also!
The food was fresh and of a high standard, the reception is clean and organised with friendly helpful staff. Despite living 20mins away the food was still piping hot when I got home and the quality was maintained. Chicken balls for example was crispy and not soggy, the sauces were fresh and the rice was fluffy and not stodgy. Definitely recommend to all who haven't tried.
This is the best chinese takeaway we've ever had in Ratby, and we have tried a few. Having lived in the village for over 35 years it's nice, finally, to have decent food on our doorstep. The food is fresh, tasty and always enjoyed. The staff are all really friendly and accommodating. Keep up the good work 👏
