The Black Horse - Leicester - Photo album

My favourite pub in Leicester. Lovely old fashioned boozer, well served and well kept ale (and a lot of it at 4 to 5 taps on) as well as a real cyder, usually old rosie. Homemade cobs for sale on the bar as well, reasonable price. Has a lovely old skool layout, does well to keep it this way given th
Top top pub. Good old fashioned pub. No fancy gimmicks. Good beers. Good service and always some interesting characters at the bar.
We love this pub, more than our front room. A real gem in the city, and full of incredible people. Great landlord, staff and the Edna cat. 😻 Always a warm welcome, and a great selection of beers. Live music on a Monday, Thursday and some Friday nights. Worth supporting and keeping alive, given that
An excellent bar for the more mature client, and some immature grown ups as well. Very big into their bar games !👍
This is a really nice cosy pub. Great place to meet new people and to hang out with friends.
Went for a quick pint £4.45 guest ale very quiet but expected due to current circumstances, love the interior no TV seen toilets remind me of the old days which I loved could not find a plug socket though went on the rooftop area unfortunately trees blocked most of the view when sat down not the own
Great little pub with a friendly bartender and beautiful ale, nice out door seating perfect for that after shopping pint.
A truly historic pub,one of Leicester's gems.
Genuinely my favourite pub in Leicester. Always warm, cosy and welcoming, with lovely bar staff and patrons. The music nights are really fun and but if you just want a place to have a good conversation, the black horse is just as good for that.
Great little pub, good beer great service nice and quiet for a Sunday night. If I was to move here I would definitely make it my local.
Popped in for a quick catch up with two of my boys. Nice, traditional pub with decent beer and open air roof terrace. Not been to a proper pub for some time but felt really comfortable. Very personable landlord. Recommended.
Old typa pub ran by youngsters! Felt like stepping back a few decades so surrounded by history!! Great price of drinks, close to center and awesome decor!
Great place for a relaxing drink of cider with a little live music. Even the bogs are a little different!
This was the last pub I went to that night. And despite my slightly lazy vision and blurred speech, it was a lovely pub. The ale was nice, the decor rustic. It was a nice pub for my final pint that night.
Great find, beer fantastic, always been quiet when I've been, but a definite visit in your in area.
One of my favourite few remaining traditional pubs in the City. Very good selection of beers, lovely cobs on the bar, dartboard and sun terrace, traditional but well-kept decor and some really good live music nights. Landlord is a bit of a grumpy sod, hard to tell if that's just his sense of humor.
Decent range of drinks, reasonable prices. Rooftop bar/seating area is fantastic. Minus point for fragrant toilets (although they're a lot better compared to some!).
