We had Stacey’s 40th birthday party at the venue on Friday 15th June and I cannot rate the place highly enough.
A wonderful setting and the staff couldn’t of done more to make it a perfect night for her.
Loved the way the staff really wanted to be there dancing and laughing and joking enjoying the night.
A definite place we will have parties at again.

Superb place. The building is gorgeous! The staff were friendly and very efficient. Had a great time celebrating my 40th birthday. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. Get booked in before it’s too late.
Great venue, it spectacular surroundings. Bar excellent with first class friendly staff. Can't recommend this place highly enough.
Finally got to eat here as I usually work on a Sunday. WOW!!! The food was amazing. Lots of selection of veg and the meats were cooked to perfection (I tried them all :-) ). Well worth a try.

An amazing place for a wedding. Liz worked hard to ensure the Bride, Groom and guests all had the best experience possible. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was delicious. Everyone was able to enjoy the outside space, bar and party. Fantastic. Thank you Liz.

The decor inside suits the history of the building. I would highly recommend.
Beautifully and lovingly restored, tranquil and to top it off amazing Gin's! Highly recommend a visit after a lovely walk around Bradgate Park.
Liz, sarah and all the staff at the pumping station have been amazing in the past 12 months. Liz and Sarah have patiently answered all our questions and held our hand through the planning process. We were given free rein to make the day ours and let our creativity run wild. We will be back for all the yummy food from Michael and for a nice big glass of gin. Liz and Simon did such an amazing helping with our wedding - I can't believe just how great it turned out. They are both wonderful at knowing what you want even when you can't quite put it into words yourself :) Down to the little tiny last minute details they had us covered. We had the pleasure of having our works Christmas party at the pumping station on December the 2nd. The venue, staff, drinks, food was simple awesome.
Hopefully our employer will rebook this amazing venue next year
We were very lucky to hear seats upstairs where the stage was set up. Those downstairs couldn't see anything g unless they went up to the dance floor. Not an ideal venue for this abba mania show but very enjoyable despite food problems. Steak in steak sandwich was sliced much too thick and bread collapsed. Meat tough and chewy..husband nearly choked on the gristley steak.

Our first visit here for High End Chauffeurs. We chauffeured for the bride in our Rolls Royce Ghost, and Mercedes V class for the brides, what a lovely venue.
We held our wedding at the pumping station two weeks ago. It was absolutely amazing. The venue is perfect and Liz is fantastic. There is nothing she won't do to help and she made our day completely stress-free. Thank you so much all our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was. We would definitely recommend.
Lovely Wedding Venue!
Liz and her team are so helpful and put a lot of effort in to make the day run as smoothly as possible. I’m so glad we chose to have the Wedding here, beautiful building and scenery. Everyone mentioned how lovely the pizzas were too.
We booked our wedding ceremony and reception as part of a twilight package. Liz obviously knows what she’s doing, she advised us well, was very accommodating, she planned the day out with us to help ease any worries my partner had and was always great communicating before hand.
The wedding ran smoothly, she was never far away when we needed her to ask any questions or needed help throughout the day.
We paid a little more to upgrade the canapés to pulled pork cobs and the food was great !
We had a Saturday wedding so figured we would book Sunday lunch as we needed to collect our things anyway. We had 18 people for dinner and considering the wedding didn’t finish till 12 at night when we arrived the next day they had gone above and beyond to decorate a large table with our decor. Everything else was wrapped up for us neatly in a side room and again great food and service.
Overall I would have no hesitation recommending Liz to any friends or family !
We had our wedding reception at the pumping station nearly 2 weeks ago, and I can not fault the venue or the staff at all. From start to finish Liz was just incredible, probably one of the genuinely nicest people we have met, so kind and understanding and supported us both the whole way (and was always patient with my numerous questions 😅).
When the day came, even when timings were a little off and everything was held back from the service, Liz handled everything like a pro, took charge of everything and I was able to relax and not worry about a thing. All of the staff on the night were great, so helpful and friendly.
We had so many comments about how lovely the venue was and genuinely couldn’t fault Liz and her team at all!
The venue also gave us the opportunity to have some beautiful photos inside and outside among the trees, as it has such a beautiful setting!

Amazing place for either a Wedding, Party, Sunday lunch, bottomless brunch or a gig.
Liz & her team are amazing & so accommodating and helped make our daughter & son-in-laws wedding day extra special.
Food was delicious, venue is stunning, staff efficient and friendly.
Went there to see Freddie Mercury tribute act, we all had a fabulous time, Joey Linden was a real livewire and incredibly entertaining.
The menu was mainly burgers, we opted for the Wagyu burgers which were delicious as was the beer.
We arrived quite early to a very warm welcome from the host, the staff were frienly and obliging.
We are looking forward to going again.
We went for Sunday lunch. Had the carvery followed by dessert. Nice food, very tasty. Good portion size, service was efficient and friendly. Interesting building. Did look a little tatty in some areas, cobwebs on the light fittings etc but overall a nice meal out.
