The lady that served us was excellent, very polite and attentive. The chips were generous and tasted good, the mushy peas were good but were a very dark green, the potato fritter was a good size but under cooked, the steak and kidney pie was good.
Lovely little chippy and lovely staff - one of the first places I went to when I became local and didn't disappoint.

Ordered home delivery via deliveroo, 45 mins wait time but not a problem. Have to say the BEST fish and chips we have had for a long time!! Gosh was huge, skinless and batter perfect. Chips were delish as were the mushy peas. Very hot still and nothing soggy x thank you
Lovely fish and chips great value for money. Very friendly member of staff at the counter served me and the other was talking to another customer so obviously got great customer service skills as well as cooking. As for those that waited ages I can only say maybe they were very busy with online orders or maybe they made a mistake with yours and started again. I personally would rather wait 30 minutes for great fish and chips but hey if you don’t want to wait I supposed you could always have uncooked cold fish and chips
Absolutely stunning food. So glad we are able to collect food in person. Andy and Katrina are brilliant. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Word of warning go for small chips as the portions are huge but well worth the money.
We have just had large haddock and small chips. The large haddock was so tasty with the chips went down really well. 👍👍

The portions are massive, I ordered the Big King ocean burger and it was a meal and a half on it's own!
Everything was well priced and tasty, and the delivery (through Deliveroo) was very prompt.

Came here for Haddock & chips which were cooked freshly especially to my order. Only a short wait. Excellently kept - lovely and clean. Lovely crisp batter on the mouthwatering haddock! Good food and good value. Will come here again and I'd suggest you do too. Small carparking lay-by conveniently outside the shop.
Firstly, I've been using this chip shop on Deliveroo for a few deliveries and they have never let us down, not once. The food is always fresh and hot, the value for the portion sizes is genuinely incredible. Always stuffed after the food. Tried a battered Creme Egg and jeez theyre insane. I'd say this is the best chippy in Leicester.
We have used this chippy as regular customers and it is the best chippy by far. I would deffo recommend them and the staff are the most friendliest family and very welcoming.
Katerina and Andy are both always full of smiles and joy which is always good to see and we have made some good friends from visiting this chip shop. Food is made fresh to order as requested.

Good points: clean; chips not soggy; fish well battered but not over battered; decent portions.
Not so good: wasn't at all clear if I was getting cod (which I asked for) or haddock.
All in all a very decent Chippy, but must address the fishy issue above.
