Great service and great food since new ownership Love the lamb korma there. Food is quite authentic and that's coming from a very picky punjabi Indian.
Only thing I am disappointed by that the management got rid of the friendly polish waitresses.

As always an excellent cuisine and pub in Leicester! I would highly recommend to everyone wanting to experience a top notch Indian Pub. On a side note, Thaun has always been highly professional and a genuinely nice individual from day one!
Good value Indian restaurant and sports bar. It is divergent, depending on factors like what season, or celebration, or what live sports is on the big TV etc Nice food.

Very disappointed with service. Was not busy yet services were slow. Men's washroom pathetic Very dirty no soap in dispenser, drinking glasses were dirty, I'd rather do takeout have food at home no complaints with food good food
I enjoyed it. Was told that this place was awful but that was the old owners. A friend of mine bugged me to go and we went as two couples and loved the food, the atmosphere, mind you, the atmosphere is only as good as you make it and we made it good! The dishes were amazing. I loved fish pakora. The first place where fish does not fall to pieces separate from the batter. It was all merged and so lovely, I was impressed from start t9 finish. Yes, it a bit on the expensive side compared to others but worth it.
I was pleasantly surprised by Wool Pack. Service was attentive, friendly and polite. They even heated up Indian food for my son, that I could have bought from them (at no charge). They accommodate our request to change tables. My son was able to run around, and I did not get disgruntled waiting staff. We ordered tandoori king prawns for starters. They came out sizzling and massive. Cooked just enough with spices and still juicy. For mains we shared Ginger Chicken, which was very tasty. The balance of ginger and spices was perfect. They even garnished it with sticks of fresh ginger for a bit of extra kick. Perfect. It went down with a large and light man bread. We shared a starter and main, with food still left over for a doggie bag. See picture for the bill. The main thing i would request is for some fresh passion fuit juice and a variety of lassies. I will definitely go back to try the other dishes.

Absolutely amazing food, all very fresh and piping hot. Have to recommend the Galic Chilli Chicken was the star of the show. The young lady behind the bar was really professional and brilliant in handling our group. However there was a waitress who did not always get our order right and there was a language barrier.
