Went for lunch with some friends. Never been there before but was made to feel so welcome I could have been one of the locals. Food was beautiful. Excellent service from all the staff. The whole afternoon was fantastic. Really would recommend this place to everyone.

Came here for a Sunday roast and we were not disappointed. We pre-booked and were seated in the snug by the fire. 2 of us ordered the beef and I ordered the wellington. The portions were amazing, plenty of veg and all meats (and vegan Wellington) delicious! Plenty of parking spaces, but can fill up
Beautiful, traditional country pub idyllic village with incredible food - the roasts were generous and delicious and puddings incredible!! Our huge booking of nearly 20 people went like a dream!
We went for Mother's Day dinner here, and the food and service were amazing. They even gave all the mums daffodils and a little biscuits with happy mothers' Day on. I would definitely recommend 5*.
Three people for Sunday lunch. We felt immediately welcome by attentive bar staff who were friendly and helpful. Bar staff alerted waiting staff of our presence and they came to invite us through. Sunday roast lunch - fantastic! This pub has really improved since our last visit a few years ago. Great atmosphere and great food (and very, very nice staff). When the weather's nice, the outside view is georgous across the fields as well.

Called in here last night after being let down by another pub, arrived ten minutes before the cut off point for food orders, they catered for 11 of us, lovely fresh cooked food,staff were great, polite and professional, would definitely go here again after after this experience, nic
Me and my partner stumbled across the old black horse inn following a trip to Rutland Water. Absolutely gorgeous roast dinners were enjoyed! I had the beef and it was delicious. My partner had the chicken. Could have spent the entire afternoon enjoying the pub's lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend

Sunday lunch for six adults and a 2 year-old. Superb. Best I can recall. Very generous portions. They even supplied tub of Golden Syrup with the extra Yorkshire pudding. Then amazing ice creams. Excellent service. Thank you all at the OBH on a very special day for our family.
