Warm welcome by sage she was so helpful because we arrive after they had took their last food order but she managed to get the chef to except are order, Sage was polite and always smiling, we didn't have wait long for our food and when it came the vegetables came separately in two bowls which was a good idea , the dinners were excellent and the puddings were lovely, the pub was warm and welcoming, we will be visiting again thank you
Went and had a superb Sunday lunch, staff friendly and busy, service exellent, will go again.

Nice local pub. Easily accessible. I had the shepherd's pie. It was absolutely amazing, really tasty and filling. Nice atmosphere. Only criticism would be the confusion around service and ordering. You have to go to the bar to tell them you'd like a meal but then get sent back to your seat to wait.
Absolutely stunning meal here with family and dog, love that they have an actual dog food menu and he thoroughly enjoyed it as well.
Amazing food, every dish we had was perfect and could not be faulted, steak cooked perfectly. The puddings, oh the puddings!

Just had an exceptional meal outside with great service and my dog was happy as well with fresh water and biscuits we had a roast and the beef and pork was again excellent quality potatoes perfect lots of veg and good price !
Food, very good, service brilliant, people perfect 👌 if I have to fault anything, it would be the music 🎶 NOISY!!

Great food. My new favourite place to eat. Proper white cotton table cloths. Waiting staff are always nice and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Burgers are great. Fish pie is full of fish and the sheperds pie was awesome.
Really like this pub, has a lovely relaxed atmosphere when we usually go on a Sunday. Never had food, just go for drinks usually. The garden is really big and spacious, we bring our dog and if there not many in the garden we throw her ball for her lol.. There is a nice play area for kids too. The prices are about average for these days, around £5+ for a pint these days.. We bought two pints and a half and it came to £12 something, so about average really. But a lovely relaxed atmosphere and it's super dog friendly 👍
Great selection of burgers and pub mains. The portions are good for the price and the food is tasty. For an Everard's pub, the beer selection is actually very good and the wine and gin options are also reasonable. Had a good night out and there were some banging tracks on the playlist.
Also dog friendly which is the biggest plus in our book.
I'm not sure why you haven't been to this place if you live within five miles, frankly. The food is outstanding (great portions, great price), the atmosphere is lovely, the service and drink choices are great and it's such a nice place to be.
The only issue is you can't risk being a walk-in to get food, especially lunch. BOOK AHEAD to guarantee your slot and then enjoy every mouthful of food and every sip of beer.
Very Tasty burgers. Great range of burgers including a vegetarian and vegan option. Looking forward to making my way through the menu. Quite busy ( visited on Monday night and no spare seats) so I recommend you precooked. Big car park, friendly staff, all round great place to eat.
Been a couple of times and can’t fault the food at all or service .
Tonight we took a party of 15 for my grandsons 21st and my goodness the staff worked soo hard and very pleasant from start to finish .
Food was amazing and anything we asked for was not any trouble.

Just stopped off on the way home trying our luck to see if we could get a Sunday lunch and WOW did we ever!!!I went for the kids roast pork as Iv had a gastric sleeve and the mrs an adults beef dinner.
My pork was plentiful and succulent,amazing piece of crackling and lovely stuffing,more then enough for me and the roasted apple was a stroke of genius.the mrs was happy with her beef that looked juicy and also plentiful too.we managed to have a dessert each after the food went down and was blown away with the size and taste of firstly my biscoff cheesecake and then my mrs with her hot chocolate brownie with vegan ice cream.all in all I rated it as my best ever Sunday roast so we will be coming back for sure and telling everyone about how good the staff were,the menu and the amazing food too.dog friendly too which is always good

We came to our favourite restaurant, to celebrate some great news. As usual, we where greeted so warmly, we had some of the most special meals we have had there yet. Absolutely stunning! Of course. That's why we love visiting, as often as we can.
You can visit for any occasion, a drink, light bite, pub food, restaurant meal. All of which are exceptional.
We look forward to returning as soon as we can.

Nice pub with a convivial atmosphere. We received a very pleasant welcome from the young lady at the bar. Although we only stopped for a drink we found our visit to be a real pleasure. The seating areas are pleasant and clean and the pub is very well maintained and cared for. Well done to all concerned! Update on 04.08.23...still excellent.
Absolutely Amazing food! So So tasty and good sized portions. Not the cheapest but well worth the price.

We had a pit stop beer here whilst on a pub crawl across the Leicestershire countryside.
The staff were incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was traditionally British at it’s finest.
I could highly recommend a visit!
Called in on the spur of the moment with our fur baby Max, had a lovely meal and Max was welcomed with a bowl of water and doggie treats. Service was great and food delicious! Thank you all xx
