Decent family ran chippy. Friendly, nice staff. Bit of a wait, but the food was nice, cod was thick and had a lovely delicate flavour. Batter was crispy in most parts but slightly under cooked in the thicker parts. Over all I give this a 4 ⭐ review. Very friendly staff.
I was served by Daniel. My sister had come over last weekend to visit so we treated ourselves to fish n chips!
I call before hand, my food was ready when we got there. We ordered 3 lots of large fish n chips, 2 battered sausages and 2 large curry sauces. All the portions were of a good size.

Perfectly cooked. How chippies used to be. Everything was fresh and tasty. The 2 ladies working this evening were super friendly. Service with a smile really stands out these days. It's refreshing. And to think we were gonna have vegetables for tea tonight! We will be back.

Most of the time the fish and chips are top quality. On the rare occasion the chips may be a little odd (gritty) but thankfully that's rare. People come from far to get food from here, with good reason

Best chippy in town, hands down. The consistency for the last several decades is a testament to Danielle and Antons hard work and I will go out of my way to travel 10 miles and past many other fish and chip shops to visit
