Lovely, friendly staff and delicious, fresh food in good portions at a great price. My only criticism is the upstairs dining area was really hot but just move downstairs like we did! Loved it and will definitely return.

Delicious food! This will be my new go to place to eat. The chicken katsu curry was amazing and actually kept me full for hours. Got a chef special sushi tray for my dinner as well so I'm set for the night.
Really great Japanese fast food. Sushi was really fresh and reasonably priced. Staff helpful and friendly and it was very clean & tidy. Good selection of food & drinks. Will definitely be back ���

Been here many, many times but never eaten in. Counter service has always been quick and I love their food. Great crispy chicken and rice combos, love the shu mai, often order the sushi as a healthy side I can nibble on throughout the day. Has to be said, I mostly order via deliveroo - this is the type of food that works perfectly as a take away.
We have been dining at the Kokoro branch in Wimbledon for years and recently moved away from London. Visiting Leicester we found another branch of Kokoro and it lived up to expectation. The food is great; piping hot, crispy chicken and lovely katzu curry. Plenty of sides are available including spring rolls, gyuko and more. Great assortment of cold drinks and everything is reasonably priced and clear. There is clear brand consistency as the restaurant looks and feels like the others we had been too. Dropped a star as there is still a long wait as the counter is so busy; the toilets were elusive and difficult to find. The restaurant is not suitable for people who are in wheelchairs or cannot go up lots of stairs- however take away us available. There is also a small outdoor area with two tables and seats. Nice to visit this franchise; would go again.
It’s okay, not the best I’ve had. Worth if for the katsu curry or great value for money if you like sushi. But the fried noodles are meh not worth the visit.
The Tofu Katsu Curry was good, portion size was also good. Definitely recommend for a clean, quick and tasty takeaway.

The food was nice the services was very fast and tasteful. Would go here for lunch again they have a large selection of sushi and also very reasonable prices. My only issue is that the food was put into a microwave to re heat which just was a bit disappointing but besides that it was good cheap and tasty food

Excellent! Delivered with Deliveroo in 11 minutes. Tastes fresh, with amazing flavour. Was afraid that the pot of hot food was going to be small and overpriced, but blimey, it's as big as my kids head! Will definately order again, or when circumstances change, I'm going to eat in and try everything!

Really enjoy this place for lunch. You get plenty for your money. I had spicy tofu with rice. There are plenty of onions in this dish with red and green peppers. This cost me £4.95 to eat in. There plenty of other options with meat and vegetarian options. You can have rice or noodles plus various other things.
I also have had katsu curry, which is fantastic.
I would highly recommend that you try this place.

The sushi rice was way too mushy. The salmon and prawn sashimi was good along with the inari. But a huge red flag in sushi is mayo. I’ve had sushi in LA, Tokyo, and New Delhi. New Delhi drowns their sushi in mayonnaise and it’s so disgusting. My salmon and avocado rolls had light mayo on the inside and I didn’t realize it when I looked at the rolls but when I was eating the rolls they tasted off. The rice was too mushy and there was mayonnaise. I’d skip this place if you’re a bit of a sushi snob. Staff was super friendly.
