My first experience of eating at WGC was last Friday when I came with 20 odd WI ladies for Xmas lunch and it was lovely and good value for money. All the meals came out hot which sometimes is not the case when there is a large group of people. I had the pate which was delicious followed by the turkey which was lovely and plentiful, proper portion sizes, no need for a trip to the chippy afterwards. Veg were cooked properly and more than enough for us all and a nice big jug of proper gravy.
The staff were lovely too and I have no hesitation in recommending this place to anyone.
The course is not in best condition, a bit bomb alley especially when there is men on the course. The Club house is what makes it special excellent food choices cooked perfectly, you need to keep hold of catering staff, it just shows you can serve excellent food for a good price, keep it up well worth another visit if we come south again.
Brilliant I had Xmas meal with my nice ladies all 8 of enjoyed our food, there was enough to feed the 5000 lol could not complain very lovely welcoming place this was out 3rd year of having out Xmas meal there again we love it so much we shall just keep going there Year after year. The food is excellent cannot find fault with the chef cooking, people are pleasant and the drink is nice and cheap, defo reccomend anyone to go there for a meal you’ll not be disappointed. 😜👍🏻

We love it the food is really good value for money and drinks reasonable price . Abit of a wait for food but who's in a hurry its a night out. Staff always friendly. The mushroom lasagna is the best around.
Great food as always with friendly staff. Has a 2 for £15 menu with lots of choice.
Chose the winter warmers, liver, lamb stew and cajun chicken. Bit of a wait but worth it as all was piping hot and delicious, we ate the lot. Just what was needed on a cold, drab January day.
Great Value and always kept in good condition!! Also the food and drink in the clubhouse is great!!

What a hidden gem, we had to book to get in, I think that every table was used. The menu is quite large, and very confusing, the food came quite quickly, and was very hot and fresh. I have never asked for a doggy bag before, but we all did, as the portions were huge. Excellent value for money, I've only ever sat outside before, it was a bit cramped between tables, the excellent staff were a joy,Nas nothing was too much trouble.
This is a great place to eat. The prices are so good for the amount of food you get, not only that the quality is amazing, I often return here for a meal during the week.

This was my first visit to Whetstone Golf Club for a meal. My lady had been before and came away contented. The Staff were exceptional and the food was excellent. The atmosphere was great.
