Found the pub close to the ground, after arriving early to watch Stoke play at the King Power. Great place with plenty of large, high quality screens to watch the preceding game on TV. Plenty of bar staff on to enable queuing kept to a minimum. Stella went early, but plenty of quality alternatives.
Very friendly and welcoming. The fantastic smell of freshly cooked food as soon as you enter is mind blowing. The food itself is very tasty, very generous portions and quickly served piping hot. Definately will be returning again very soon

The food - a Sunday roast with beef rib and fish and chips - was great and the pub is very clean including toilets. Definitely would recommend and return for the quality and value.
Super place....spotlessly clean with a lo Ely atmosphere....huge thick chunk of gammon with egg AND pineapple, crunchy chips and lots of peas.....delish!! Another had a super mixed grill, and another chicken strips, all with same comments. Lovely not to ask for Condiments etc, and staff were great. With a large diet coke, a large white wine and pint of Stella, Bill was under Β£70....supern n we'll be back! We'll done

We've eaten numerous times here now when coming to watch LCFC -it's always packed with fans when we visit and you'd think it'd be the last place to have a nice a meal considering but it's brilliant! Not had a bad meal yet π
Visited for the first time for breakfast, the service was really good and the food was hot and really nice.
For the value for money portion I would give it a full five as well because it was a good size portion.
Will definitely make this a go to for future morning outings and loads of parking spaces as well.
It's not close to where we live but we met up with friends so was a midway point.
Went back this week and still exactly the same, really good π

I love this place it's perfect to have a pint and have some good grub and a game of pool!! Friendly staff!
Today me and 18 other family members attended for Christmas Day Dinner. We were greeted and shown to our table, which was laid beautifully. The service was quick, no orders were messed up. Nothing was to much trouble. The staff were bubbly and friendly, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. Thankyou so much we will be booking again, the food was lovely and the portions were massive. The kids could be kids too.
The prices and menu was fab great selection.

Had a meal here before the Tigers game. Prompt service and good food. Good for a standard pub menu. Atmosphere obv good. Large capacity to serve everyone. Will go again for sure.
Had an XL mixed grill skillet and it was epic, everything was cooked perfectly and was packed with flavour, The staff are always great, friendly and helpful, if you haven't eaten here then you are missing out, would give it 10 stars if I could ππ
Great pub unfortunately won't be able to go there again took my family to see what it was like on the 4/1/24 paid by credit card and it wasn't until the 8/1/24 they took money from my account this is how it goes according to the bank so that's not the problem we stayed for 30 minutes and never again As we have been nothing but harassed ever since by a company called parking eye they try to threaten you with a hundred pounds fine if you don't prove your innocence just for having one drink you get months of aggravation and threats from them so sorry to say won't be using the local hero again because of threats by parking eye

Great pub for match day although would say it's pointless reserving a table as they get cancelled last minute. Food is nice and great value for money. Most of the staff are very friendly but are overworked. Big queues at busy times.
A great pub to chill and have some food at a very good price. The pub is large and has a nice atmosphere and even has a pool table. I would recommend this pub to anyone looking for some cheap food and a pint.
