I ordered a gluten free burger and they accidentally put it on a normal batch! When they realised what they had done they brought a new one very quickly. Offered me more chips and also gave me a refund which I didn’t ask for. Amazing service. It’s not always what you do wrong that people remember you for but how you put it right. Xxx
Lovely food, pleasant staff, and proper home cooked chips. Definitely try the pulled pork, cheese topped chips, and the onion rings are proper too.

I love the burgers here along with wedges, just so tasty and filling. Sad they stopped their unlimited cold drink concept. Still can't complain, their meals are great
Nice burgers, good service but bit pricey
I've been to this restaurant on a couple of occasions and tried the chicken and beef burgers. I find it a really nice and relaxed environment. It's by no means a formal restaurant but the food is good and it's a good place to chill out and talk. Also it's just round the corner from the cinema. All in all it's a grand place.
Fortunately the bread is as nice as the burger and the sides are not a disappointment. Definitely worth a visit if you're after a good burger in Leicester!
Food was great, staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Didn't the too long between ordering and the food arriving. Hawaiian burger was great, maybe a bit more adventurous next time and try the peanut butter burger.
I had a 3-day stay in Leicester and Handmade Burger Co definitely served the best meal I had while in the city. Compared to the other restaurants in the area they're reasonably priced and customer service is good. I didn't have to wait at all to get a table or be served. Loads to choose from on the menu as well.
Great burgers, fantastic chip-shop style chips and the sides were also well cooked. Reasonable prices and swift service, couldn't fault our experience and we'll definitely be visiting again soon.
Fresh made burgers & fries, with the nice option to customise However you want. Fries are fresh, with good texture & thick(er) cut.
Menu starts of with a good variety of combinations. I had the peanut butter & Bacon chicken burger with sweet chilli Jam, & Denver (pulled pork, hbc/chipotle sauce) fried.
Cheese on fries is processed/easy melt, but much better than other places. Bacon is smoke flavoured (slightly overpowering), peanut butter was in sauce form but still had a good pb taste. The chipotle sauce is also nicely flavoured with a mild spice level.
All in a good meal & definitely worth return visits to try different combinations.

Food was good, make sure to let them know how you like the burger as I didn't and it was abit too well done for me. Milkshake was ok, more like a smoothie really.
I remembre this place from 2011 when I used to live here. Brings back memories and used to love their burger. Glad to see new addition to the menue and it’s expanding. Friendly Staff as always
Good selection of burgers. To much topping compared to the amount of actual burger though, at least for the veg-mex.
It's rare to see a Handmade burger nowadays as a lot of them have been closed down which is a shame.
The burger was absolutely awesome. Don't expect to get chips with the burger as they are extra but it isn't exactly expensive. A portion of chips is huge so you won't walk away wanting more food. I really enjoyed my meal and our server was really nice and super helpful.
It's clean, reasonably priced, not too formal. Would recommend it for people who want a casual meal with friends or even a casual date night.
Burger patty was large and well cooked. The options were pretty good. We liked our toppings. The burger did fall apart and we went in with a knife and fork. We split a side of chips, which were mostly good. Some small crispy bits. Cocktails were not inspiring, so we skipped. It was a nice place. The table service was good but at a place like this, I wasn't sure if I should tip. Wish that was more clear. I'd go back.
It's a bit boring inside, staff constantly coming over, food is good and fresh but I don't want to tell 3 different waiting staff in 10 minutes that it's good, and the staff member who showed us to the table and said she would be serving us today, didn't come back to us at all not even to take our order, but did serve the table behind us! Service was fast and so was bringing the bill within 5 minutes of us finishing
