We stopped here for lunch in the conservatory and we were really impressed. The food was homemade and delicious (including great chips!) and the friendly service was excellent.

Lovely roast with plenty of vegetables brought to the table to go with it. Dessert was also very nice, I had the sticky toffee pudding with custard.

Popped in for a mid week lunch. Both the lasagne and chicken off the specials board were delicious. Friendly service as ever. Definitely worth a visit if you're passing.

We popped in briefly on a journey home. Needed a. Rest and some refreshments. It was quiet as it was quite late on a Thursday night and the road had been block off for road works.

Sticky table. Carvery was OK. Cooking vegetables to order was a nice touch. Not bad but not great either. Would go back again, eventually.
Updated Sept 2023: It's improved. Veg a little under but otherwise a very nice meal. Much cleaner surroundings and will be back more often now...
Food is beautiful and well presented, with a wide selection of food to choose from. Would recommend this family run pub.

This is one of those places you wished you lived closer to, what a lovely pub with fabulous hosts, as for the food well all I can say is amazing, prawn cocktail was very well presented and delicious served with fresh warm farm
One of our go to pubs. Never had a bad meal yet with the current owners. Always pleasant and they can even guess what we’re going to eat 😀 highly recommend.
