Been 3 lunchtimes now, staff lovely and polite, service perfect, food is great size potions, fresh and enjoyable. Not often would I recommend places but defiantly recommend here.

I have been here many times, the good Is fantastic, I have never had a bad meal, the service is good and the staff are always very polite and friendly.
We had a lovely meal yesterday with a table next to the log burner which was great, as it was freezing out side .

Went Wednesday night, no wait for table, excellent service, lovely patient polite waiter, even though we were never ready to order through nattering too much, really busy no wait for food , very well priced and so delicious ! Definitely be back .
Called in for lunch. Jacket potato. Delicious. A pub that does the simple things really well inspires confidence. Will be back to sample the rest of the extensive menu!

Got to give 5* for this lovely pub. Visited it 3 times so far and I am well impressed with the service I received from the staff and the food is totally amazing. Looking forward to next visit in the new year. Lovely warm place for a drink or a bite to eat
Friendly service, fab food, I had the Jerk salmon other half had rump steak, cooked to perfection and plenty on the plate as well as value for money, highly recommended!

This place is a bit pricy but for a special treat it’s worth a visit. It’s clear that all meals are cooked from scratch which whilst this makes the wait a little longer also makes the meals delicious.
The mixed fish platter was amazing, ham and eggs lovely although too much ham even for a big eater.
The kids burger and chips is almost identical to the adult version but at half the price - order the kids one.
Expect greatness but expect to pay for it.
This was our third visit since the new management have taken over. Every time the food has been excellent with very generous portion sizes. The Sunday Lunch was no different, our next visit will be for the steak night... can't wait.

Absolutely love the atmosphere it’s nice and cosy and nice to see friends here too.
There’s also a tv show here including cooking shows that shows people how to cook different meals etc. as well as the sports and other relaxing shows I have seen here. It’s nice that it has an atmosphere that makes anyone feel comfortable.
Also great vibes if there’s any easier work to be done as you can always relax with a Kindle (recommended by Georgina).
I was pleasantly impressed with the service and a very good amount of salad served as sides which is important!
Everyone is so kind including the bar staff who do a very decent job at getting everyone served and with correct amounts.
Only improvement I would suggest would be speeding up the service by a few minutes.
I do recommend this often to family and friends.
Thanks again for another fantastic service and food quality today! You are all doing so well.

Absolutely love this place, the food is excellent! The bar area is a really nice part of the pub, the snug a quieter area and the restaurant beautifully decorated with good spacing between tables. The service we received from Ed and his team, made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Toilets...... Clean and to a very high standard!!! All in all this will become a regular haunt of mine, can't wait to go back 😁

I have just returned home from celebrating my granddaughters 20th birthday here. We had booked Sunday lunch for 10 of us on the recommendation of my grandson and his partner.
Wow, were I and my husband impressed. Probably an understatement!
From start to finish the whole experience was first class. Friendly greeting, smiling attentive waiting staff, nothing was too much trouble.
The food, first of all we had never seen portion sizes so generous, especially roast meat, and cooked to perfection. Dishes full of a variety of help yourself vegetables and jugs of extra gravy, plenty for all of us. I ordered cod and chips and got a whale! Crispy batter, lovely flaky fish, chips to die for.
With a selection of starters and desserts, we were all extremely satisfied and happy, and Charlotte had a great birthday meal, they even put a candle in her dessert. For myself and hubby, we live in Loughborough, it was our first visit, it certainly will not be our last.
Compliments to the chef, and all the lovely staff that made our visit a 10/10, thank you all.

Food was AMAZING! I tried the cook your own steak and it was such a novelty, even as a medium to well done steak eater, the stone was hot enough to cook it to my liking! I would definitely recommend giving it a go at least once.
People were really friendly and couldn't do enough for us - thanks!
Atmosphere was OK. It was a Friday night and we were sat near the bar, so there were a few drunks around, but nothing too rowdy so it was all good.
Been coming now for about 18 years and has always been excellent without ever having made a complaint. Staff and service are consistently great
and Hannah is the most outstanding staff member - always very welcoming and accommodating. Highly recommended venue.
First time I have been to the Bulls head in Ratby, we were pleasantly surprised, the pub itself looks very nice as you walk in, very well kept, the seating in food area is the same, although there is a bar area as well it was not big and and no where to sit to wait for our friends to turn up, as all the seats were taken we opted to sit at our reserved table. The food was spot on, myself and my wife had the chicken skewer with chunky chips, onion rings, and salad, and it was cooked to perfection, and both plates were left empty but I did have to eat the wives salad for her. If your ever in the area call in there you'll like it.
