Great food at a good price. Always fresh and all served with welcoming friendly service. They can never fail to impress me time after time and on the last 2 occasions my mother has been with us and they have won here over and she is the fussiest eater I know.
Really clean and pleasant environment . Staff were very pleasant and helpful would recommend it to anyone who loves fish 🐟 and chips .. meal was huge way too much for me but prices were good 😊 too x

Lefty and his family have created, in my opinion, the best fish n chip shop in Leicestershire. The generous portions and quality of food set a standard that other shops need to try to acheive.
Wouldn't go anywhere else. I make sure I get some every time I visit back home. Portions sizes are big and the fish and chips is amazing

My husband and I come home to Leicester every Christmas from Greece,and we come to the cafe every year as my Greek husband is crazy about your fish and chips! He will not go anywhere else!great quality food with great size portions and friendly service,see you next year!
Very good Fish & chip , I was a guest in their town from up north , and I am a bit of a foody , googled them and went there , ordered Cod with chips and Mushy peas ×3 , and fish was lovely , portion was decent size and price was very reasonable . What else could you wish for ?
Recently visited Leicester again after having lived there many many years ago. This was always my go to place for fish and chips and glad to say it hasn’t depreciated over the years at all! Still amazing portions! Amazingly clean eating area. Can’t recommend enough :)

Friendly staff. Well wrapped and paper bag. Not plastic which I like. Easy location to get to and parking was easy to find BUT I can at 4pm ish
Decent portion size. Fish was massive and I’d say very fair priced compared to other places I’ve been
Chips wernt the best as they wernt fresh but the fish was nice. Tad bit oily but very fresh. Tasty and batter was nice too.

Spotlessly clean throughout, staff were very friendly, opened eating area especially for us as we had travelled to the area, cooked gluten free meal especially. All food was freshly cooked, excellent quality, piping hot, excellent value would definitely recommend many thanks for welcoming us thank you
The fish fillets are huge!! The menu is good offering plenty of options. Service is great - efficient with smiles. Regulation fish and chips will satisfy the biggest of appetites. A good fish and chip shop.

One of the best fish and chips places in Leicester... Had good variety of food and all of them were super delicious!!! My only complain (a good one though) was the portions could have been smaller... I don't think anyone from our group were able to complete the whole plate or even the whole fish... Oh btw don't forget to order their house special curry sauce
Love this place. Been going here for since I was 10. Chips and awesome and the fish are huge compared to other places.

Really good cod and chips. The lady asked me if I wanted to wait for a fresh piece of cod to be cooked. I, of course, prefer to wait and get it fresh from the fryer. Really nice service and food.

Fish is fab never a bad meal from hear takes cash or card it hot a restaurant if you want to give mum a night off you won't be disappointed parking not the best side street are good
The fish was fried great the chips where nice and crispy but not to hard and the pineapple fritters were nice and juicy
Outstanding service, tasty fish and chips, the best I have ever had. Lovely fish and the oil used is good quality too. You don't get that extra heavy oiliness feel. Loved it !!
