The pizzas and pastas are actually amazing over here. They taste really outstanding. I went here thrice during my time in Leicester and was very satisfied here with the food and service. The service was quick.

For those residing in the UK, Zizzi would be a familiar name. It is one of the more successful European (Italian in this case) franchised chain of restaurants with the likes of other competitors such as Bella Italia, Carluccios, Cafe Rouge, that commands a presence in most if not all major cities in the UK. In the city centre of Leicester itself, there are already 2, one nestled at the new Highcross Shopping Centre, and the other (which is the one we frequent) is located along the high streets on Belvoir Street. We particularly favoured this particular branch of Zizzi owing to its interior decorations, which gave a very 'warm' feeling. Split over 2 levels, separated by a small flight of stairs, you could even witness your food being prepared before you by the chefs working at the open-concept kitchen. Absolutely wonderful place. Food was perfect. Best pizza I had in a really long time. Server Ola made our visit most enjoyable. She suggested meals that were just perfect for our taste and was always happy to answer our questions. Food was prepared quite quickly considering hiw full the place was. Definitely recommend!

Friendly waiting staff who were patient when we were deciding our meals. The atmosphere inside is very nice and the decor makes the restaurant feel homely and inviting.
Very friendly and efficient staff. We went during the day on Bank Holiday Monday, it was quite busy but we easily got a table for two. There are quite a lot of pizza and pasta options, not a lot of vegetarian options but there are enough. Food arrived hot and we only waited about 15 minutes for it. With our drinks, we were given complimentary crisps.

Food was great and I thought the service was the stand out part of the entire evening. Top shout out to Harley who served us and provided excellent customer service including helping to suggest recommended options off the menu. Would definitely go back again if that is the normal service from here paired with the quality of the food.

Always amazing everytime we go. No issues when asking to remove items from the pizzas either. This time Harley just went above and beyond for us, and the food was delicious. Can't wait for the next time already.
Came in a week or so ago and was a little disappointed in our mains as it came out cold but our server Harley was really understanding , helpful and sorted the issue out without any issues. She made us feel welcome and comfortable. Great addition to the team.
I came to Zizz's Highcross the other day with my mother for a spontaneous lunch and we were blown away by the service! We were served by Ed who was the perfect balance of attentive but not intrusive, a very pleasant and lovely young man who made the entire experience a 10/10. Will be back again solely because of the service, thank you Ed!
Trendi looking place, the menu is great. I had a fab salad and garlic bread. The bread was light and fluffy. The salad was really lovely with pumpkin and courgette.
It was pleasant to talk to Ola as she was very welcoming and friendly. She gave us good suggestions for drinks which went really well with our meals.
