What a lovely experience!
The service food venue and atmospheric were perfect.
Our two young daughters (7&9) loved the Asian authenticity and BBQ experience and vibe.
My daughter is half Vietnamese so she knew what to expect and we have experienced Korean BBQs in Vietnam so this was a great treat to experience the same in the UK and we were not disappointed. My brother and his daughter who love everything Asian were equally impressed as this was their first time at a Korean BBQ restaurant. The host was great and very helpful so was the waiter very attentive too.
The food was cooked perfectly squid very crisp without grease and the meats were great and easy to cook under the guidance of the host.
She made sure everything was cooked properly and knew when to approach the table watching from the background.
We will definitely be going back to taste more dishes next holidays.
Also parking is easy if you park in the shopping centre car park and walk 5 mins to the restaurant.
We came for my birthday as I have been wanting to try Korean bbq for a long time. The staff were great and very helpful the food was good. A great first experience!
The owner lady was so sweet and cute and funny. She brightened up the whole restaurant! Well, we ordered a meat platter and some more vegetables and mushrooms. The portion was reasonable and the marinated meat was well done. Overall, I was happy with the price and the food. You should come and try, and maybe have a little chat with the owner lady! The staff team took care of us really well too.
Wonderful little gem of a restaurant in Leicester. It is small, has a very friendly atmosphere, cannot fault the service the waitress we had was very polite, very helpful and attentive.
The food was amazing, we had the kimchi pancake, toppocki with cheese and army stew. It all came really hot, and so tasty, the stew is best shared as it is alot. The spicy toppocki was on point, loved it. The prices are very fare. Had the Chinese tea which I enjoyed as I was driving and couldn't drink, but my daughter would recommend the soju, but be careful can be lethal (as my daughter can atest to). Overall a lovely place, and should be tried if you want the authentic Korean. Next time defo going to try the Korean BBQ as that looked amazing too.

Absolutely delicious food served by friendly staff. The last Korean BBQ we had was back in East Asia and this certainly matches the authentic quality we experienced there.
Very reasonable prices too for the quality and quantity of food you receive.
If you’re in the Leicester city centre, this is the perfect place to take a break and experience a fun way to eat yummy food.
Was lovely. Totally devoured my bowl of soup. I wish there was more rice tho. But regardless 10/10. Flavours, atmosphere and staffs are all beautiful.
Incredible. Simple incredible. My business partner and I came here by pure chance, as we were in Leicester for work. I have never had food which tastes this good before, very high quality and tasty ingredients.
It is unfortunate that I live 200 miles away, as it means I cannot visit OPPA as often as I would like. I would come here every week if I could. Hopefully by leaving this review, I can help convince people to give them a try!
What an amazing find. The food was amazing (yay for vegan options!), it was good value, and the staff were genuinely some of the friendliest and most welcoming I've ever met. 110% recommend.
I've just had my third visit to Oppa, and am happy to say that every visit has been a delightful experience. The service has been consistently attentive, the food comes quickly and has always been delicious and filling and it's quickly becoming one of my favourite places to eat. Also has plenty of options for when I've been with veggie and vegan friends.
Updated edit: + 2 months on, I'm still coming here and just had the bbq meat meal, as always the service was attentive, the food delicious, the prices very agreeable and the experience just as delightful as ever.
Angela was an amazing waitress, really bright and bubbly from the off and even knew my other half would not finish her food - and that I inevitably had to pick up the slack. I of course was more than happy too, as the food was delicious :).
As an expat, being homesick is very common and this restaurant is a fabulous place to cook me some homely food. This is my first time to dine in there and I had a really great time to enjoy Korean barbecue food with my fiance. I would highly recommend to have a meat platter with marinated chicken and beef ribs. They taste yummy and juicy. The quality of meat is nice even I overcooked for few times. They won't be chewy. With their sweet soy sauce and chill sauce, I can say it is perfect for me and my fiance. The price is reasonable as well. Waitresses are very helpful to serve us.If you miss Korean food, I would say OPPA BBQ Korean Restaurant would be the best place for you to go.
Excellent food and service! :) We turned up as a group of 10 without a prior booking and they were happy to accommodate us. The two staff members were so lovely and pleasant and the food was fantastic. Thank you!
Really lovely place...the staff were so helpful and thoughtful. They also had on their nose masks.
I had a very nice meal with my sister and we tried their special chili oil also and it was heavenly. Would definitely go back for more!

Amazing food, great customer service.
Really loved it.
The venue could do with some visual upgrade...but don't let that fool you....the food is brilliant. We love spicy food, and they have some kicking sauces to get those taste buds going!

I stumbled on this place and I was not disappointed. The meal was delicious, service pleasant and quick. Very reasonably priced. I’ll be going back for more.
