We had a nice evening here. The team was welcoming and attentive.
We enjoyed the food and there was a good selection for everyone - a lot of veggie options as well.
Came here for a family members birthday. Meal booked for 8pm on a Saturday night.
The restaurant is lovely, nothing new or exciting but seemed clean. For a Saturday night it wasn’t very busy, we sat upstairs and there were a couple of other tables being used.
Service was good, checked up on throughout our stay which was nice. The food was also lovely but portion control seemed to go out of the window. Don’t usually complain about getting too much food but out of the 5 people around the table, not one person was able to finish a meal.
So many chips which the meal, we all ended up leaving over half of them. Far too many so I dread to think of the food waste amounts 😳🫣 that’d be my biggest criticism m.
Overall lovely though.
Came up for a night away and honestly this is probably one of the best restaurants I have ever been to.. the staff were extremely friendly and efficient and the food was out of this world..in a old school from the 1500's it's was the perfect setting for me and my boyfriend to have a lovely romantic meal.. i highly recommend this restaurant

My husband and I enjoyed a very good steak meal, cooked to absolute perfection. The front of house staff were very attentive without being a nuisance & the music was good, a bit of Kate Bush and other equally great artists at a volume that was just right. The beer and cocktails were excellent. Wonderful atmosphere and experience. We’ve visited before & will absolutely visit again.

I definitely went in because I was curious about the name and architecture 😅 I entered and saw 2 guys who I assumed were chefs and/or manager. They were chatting and glanced at me. None of them greeted me even though I stood there for almost a minute. I was disappointed by this because even if they aren’t the front of house, there’s no harm in saying “Welcome, someone will be with you shortly” (for this reason, I’ve removed one star)
Just as I was about to leave, the front of house/waiter came over and greeted me. His customer service was excellent and I really wish I could remember his name. (If management is reading this, it’s the waiter who is part Ecuadorian. Absolutely gem!)
I tried the Grilled Honey & Cajun Paneer, Red Onion & Mushroom Skewers with chunky chips and also had a silky godfather cocktail recommended by the waiter. The food was hot and juicy and complemented by fresh salad. I thought the portion size was more than enough so definitely good value for money.
If I’m in Leicester again, that’s definitely where I’m going!
Perfect spot for a date night. Aimee was really helpful and accomodating, her radient smile made us feel so welcomed and looked after at 1573. The food was really delicious, the atomosphere was cozy so I would highly recommend this place.
My wife and I had lunch at the 1573 bar and grill for the first time on Monday. What a great place. Couldn't fault it. Clean, tidy, delicious food, served hot, good sized portions. Cameron was front of house, and delivered excellent service. Gluten free food too. Brilliant. We'll be back. The chef clearly takes great pride in the food he serves.
1573 is my absolute favourite spot. The burgers and steak are top notch and the only thing that beats it is the service they give. Big ups to Jefferson and Olivia :) Would def be back for their beautiful smiles. 10/10 recommend
Popped in without a booking and I can't praise the staff highly enough (Aimee was very accommodating and bubbly). The food is lovely and very well presented. The drinks were nice and all reasonably priced. I'll be back!!
It's while since we've eaten here but having read a recent review on Leicester Mercury I'm confused? We have a coeliac in our group and restaurant couldn't have been more accommodating. Food and service was excellent - would definitely recommend to anyone.

Went for 3 course lunch with my other half, both of use came out with full bellys and smile
on our face. Hygiene kept to a high level, food was fresh and served hot. Prices are reasonable. Meats were extremy juicy and full of flavours
This place is brilliant! The cook to perfection, everytime I have been I can't fault it not one bit. It was mother days and they were fully booked and they still accommodated us. Definelty will be here again lovely restaurant lovely staff! Thank you!
Came here for dinner and the food was amazing. Staff were friendly and attentive; one of the managers, George, was helpful and made sure me and my friends had the best experience, which we did.
Great Food and great service from all staff value for money,a special mention for a waiter called Jefferson he was very friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend this restaurant.
