We had the Wine tasting experience at Veenos in Leicester. We were not disappointed. A great experience, lovely wine and a delicious sharing board of meats, cheeses and olives. The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable. It was great that we were able to take our dog too. We will be back. Thank you.

Had a wine and nibbles experience here, never been before, in fact I wasn’t even aware of the place. What a great experience, marek and lene looked after us explaining what nibbles went with what wine and how it helps to bring out the flavours. Had an option of meat or vegan, we went for the meat option which had one glass of white wine (pinot Grigio) and two red (barbera and chianti). I’m not normally a fan of pinot, but it was really good with the food however my favorite was the barbera (never heard of it before) guess it’s a bit like a Rioja, as in a heavier red. in-fact it was so nice we ordered another glass after the experience was done. the main menu looked really good too, so we will definetly be back in future for a meal.

Finally visited this gem after months of sitting in my ‘places to go’ list. I will say, it absolutely did not disappoint, it may just be the best spot in Leicester.
I visited with a friend, with the aim to have a chat over great food and wine.
From the moment we were seated, there wasn’t a second I did not enjoy my meal here.
We were served by the wonderful Lene who made our visit unforgettable. She was so kind, knowledgeable and a great laugh. She was evidently so passionate about the wine and food, which is what a foodie like me thrives off!
She made excellent food recommendations (we opted for the BEAUTIFUL grande board, which I WILL return for) and even suggested pairings.
The meats and cheeses were undoubtedly authentic, and the condiments were flavourful and fresh. As wine enthusiasts, were recommended to try Zibibbo, which was not too dry, pleasant, a little acidic, and well-rounded. Exactly what you need to cut through fatty meat and cheese. I definitely recommend!
Unfortunately, they were out of the well-anticipated tiramisu’s (I will be returning for these too!)
Lene went above and beyond to ensure the our experience was impeccable, we even learnt some Italian! For her service alone, I would give the establishment 10 stars if I could. Graci Lene!!

My partner and I have been regulars every 2 weeks since February this year and we must say the food is absolutely fantastic. The service has always been top notch, and we always highly recommend anyone to try the Grande Board alongside a bottle on their Inzolia white wine.
The only thing that has let us down on this 1 occasion is the fact we pre booked the booth for a birthday dinner, double checked with staff that the booth would be booked, and sadly on arrival, it was given to somebody else.
While we understand people may complain if they don’t get the booth, but when you pre book the booth 4 weeks in advance, then double check a week before while eating in that same booth…it was somewhat a slap in the face to arrive and not have the thing you pre booked, especially for an occasion.
However, I must say we can’t grumble about the food or service, that in itself is always top-notch and has never disappointed.
The 1 missing star in this review is purely based on the letdown from a booking we made in advance and double checked before arrival.
Visited Veeno twice in two weeks time - one for lunch and one for dinner with the wine tasting menu. We were served by Marek in both occasions, and it was a top notch experience.
He helped us to decide a bottle of wine based on our palates and also gave really good recommendations based on our food choices. Very professional and attentive.
We can’t wait to go back again to try our wine tasting experiences with our dogs as well! ( also their tiramisu is out of this world)

We did the finest wine tasting experience with paired food platter. The whole experience was lovely and everything was delicious. Our host Lene was really knowledgeable and explained all the wines and their paired foods. We felt really well looked after. The tiramisu to finish was also lovely.
My wife and I did the Fine Italian Wine Tasting and had an amazing time. Each wine was explained, and we were given food pairing suggestions. Our server was Lene and she made us feel especially welcome and was clearly passionate about the wines.
The charcuterie board was lovely, and plenty. Lots of meats and cheeses. And the dessert was amazing - a white chocolate and pistachio tiramisu. I would go back just for that.
Overall, a 5 star experience and great value for money.

We went there to celebrate our weeding anniversary. We tried the wine tasting experience and it was amazing. Lene was so friendly and she made the experience so pleasant. We would go there again.

I’ve always had my eye on Veeno but was never sure how their food would be as it seemed very focused on the wine aspect.
Our first visit was at the start of May (first two photos) and I became hooked! Visited again a few weeks ago (last three photos) and I think I am forever obsessed!!
You can tell the finest quality meats as well as other ingredients are used in their dishes.
The Parma and burrata pizza is 10/10👌🏼😍.
Our lovely waitress Dene recommended the pistachio creme tiramisu on our recent visit and oh my goodness…obsessed🤤!!
All of the staff are so lovely and there is always such a chilled vibe! Make sure to try and get seated upstairs🙌🏼.
