We had a really nice roast here for Easter Sunday. The food was good and it was served quickly. The only downside was that we were a bit squished in at the table we were sat at. I also wouldn't recommend the red cabbage, it was too vinegary.
Friendly, approachable and helpful. Lovely pub, nice atmosphere, plenty of parking, have yet to explore the food menu.

Enjoyed dinner with my friends there. Delicious food,all fresh and tasty looking. Would highly recommend to visit this place,very cosy atmosphere. Also dinning room is separated from main pub space,so its more quiet to enjoy meal. Tried out a seafood pie,it was gorgeous. Also large choice of desserts.

The staff are polite and friendly and do a great job of the running of the pub. Good selection of drinks and local ales and the kitchen is quite nice, too.
There is a kids play area and outside seating, the screen inside are just right (not too many and not too many of them).
They can also do private events, too.
Highly recommended!
We celebrated our Golden Wedding Anniversary on Sunday afternoon with 37 guests attending. The food & service was excellent and we cannot thank Lisa, George & the staff for organising and providing us with the perfect afternoon. Nothing was too much trouble for them in making sure that everything ran smoothly for ourselves and our guests.

We wanted a bite to eat and then straight back to the road to our journey home . We visited on a Monday , eating from lunchtime menu . The bar staff weren't the most welcoming of people , but food was quick and freshly cooked .
Can't fault the food or staff. Rang and booked as wanted a 'pod'. Fabulous food, I had the tapas which is three little dishes of your choice but all the food looked lovely. Staff were great, attentive and with personalities 👍 hottest day of the year and we were in a greenhouse! At least they did provide us with some shade. Highly recommended what ever the weather
Nice place, delicious food, great people, live music, nice playground for children, good beer, wonderful decor and clean. quiet neighborhood. I recommend everyone to visit this place :)
The staff are pleasant, food is a reasonable price on the Early Bird menu, we didn't have to wait too long for the food to be served, only downside went on Tuesday, after the Easter break, some of the items were not on the menu, but I have been several times before and never had this problem in the past.

Lovely Pub nice and friendly owners I can't fault the venue. The only small issue we had was some remarks from a small group of youngsters, due to us being a different race and not "fitting in".
We just laughed and brushed it off.
Other than that, first time visit it is a nice well presented pub.
First time visiting and we will definitely be coming again! Having a nut allergy makes it really hard and often causes stress when it comes to eating out. On being seated, I made the lovely waitress aware of my allergies, immediately she checked in the kitchen and came back to me with the allergy advice. Nothing was problem! 100% reccomend
Came here for a Sunday Roast with lamb. Great taste lamb wa perfect, roasted potatoes were very tasty nicely seasoned. All in all a great dish and helpful staff.
Went for Lunch.Ess on at 22 noon but 2st pont of Cask Ale was lovely

My wife went for Stamford 🍔 a d I codn5 decide so went for a Slider which was 3 x different smaller burgers.Ended with Liquor coffee ☕️ with Kracken coffee Rum delicious 😋.
This was such a pleasant surprise. The place was hopping but we had great service and the vegetarian option, root vegetables roast, was quite outstanding.
Great visit. We were staying locally and needed somewhere for an evening meal. The Stamford Arms was excellent. The staff were great with our two young children and the food was spot on. If we're back in the area, we will be back for food here!
