Very friendly and helpful staff. Food good and tasty, arrived quickly.

Called for the first time since the new owners took over and it was absolutely fantastic. Loved the new decor, the atmosphere was relaxing and staff were friendly & helpful. Close to A1. We stopped on our way back to the Midlands from Newcastle. Good home cooked food. We had a delicious Sunday lunch here. I had the steak and potato pie, Yorkshire pudding, veg and roast potatoes. Great range of cakes and other desserts. Excellent service.

An excellent breakfast this morning whilst waiting for Vern the Van to have a new set of tyres fitted. Bacon, sausage, black pudding and egg roll and scrambled egg and salmon on a cheese scone. Definitely recommend visiting here if you are passing on the A1 near Leeming Bar.

The place is lovely! Very quaint and cosy. The little shop has goods to purchase. The chocolate éclair we bought was really good. Unfortunately, the jacket potato we had was not. It was very overcooked.

Food was nice, served up quickly and brought out to the picnic table I was sat on outside. I would have thought their could have been another sausage and egg it the box for the price also the menu says mushroom not half a mushroom as you can see in the photo. The word charming doesn't begin to describe this sensational farm shop and cafe. I don't think I have ever met more kind and welcoming people in my life, paired with a lovely selection of sensational food and a great cafe.

Called in to pick up some sandwiches and snacks for a walk. The sandwiches were lovely and full of filling. The homemade scotch egg was delicious. Will definitely call in again and look forward to having a meal in the cafe area.

Comfortable farm restaurant with wide choice of meals, snacks and cakes. Fresh meat and vegetables in the shop looked great. Friendly and welcoming
