These are new owners and having had a takeaway from here last week we wanted to try out the restaurant itself.
Very, very impressed with how they changed the decor, so much better that before, very light and welcoming.
The staff are just so very friendly, every single one of them spoke to us and made us feel welcome.
The service was spot on and the food is excellent, some really interesting dishes that hit the spot.
As a gesture we were even treated to a complimentary night cap...HIGHLY RECOMMEND 5*****
This place here has changed quite a few times under different names. However the food here at Spice Merchant seems to be so much better than before.
I stick to traditional dishes, and over here they do it so well. Especially the lamb Rogan Josh.
The service is fantastic, absolutely lovely people.
The naan here is really good too. I would recommend that along with the seekh kebab for a starter.

First time visiting here as the Spice Merchant to celebrate my Hubby's birthday in October with our family.
Great dining experience from start to finish. All our our meals were so delicious. The staff are so friendly and they provided excellent service. The restaurant has been decorated nicely with all new tables & chairs and accessories.
I mentioned on the booking form it was my hubby's birthday and they actually proved us with his birthday cake free of charge which was such a lovely surprising gesture.
Will definitely be returning in the near future.
Ended up happening upon this restaurant for my birthday evening and I could not have been happier with the experience! Every single server was very attentive, pulling out our chairs to be seated, helping us with our coats etc.
The food was delicious, atmosphere and decor was wonderful too.
There was no way that the service could have been improved, I would absolutely recommend for a special evening out.
The owner of the restaurant came over to talk to us and gifted complimentary ice cream for my birthday which was mango & pistachio, very delicious.
Really felt like a lovely birthday meal and I couldn’t have been happier with the experience, will certainly be back if I’m ever in the area!

I have been here a few times and each time I go, the service gets better and better. When we ordered on the phone the man was so lovely to me. When I got there they gave me and my partner a free bottle of coke each and also gave us a free popadom and a free rice!!! They always make conversation we us and they are genuinely such good people. The food also tastes incredible whenever we go. This is by far my favorite restaurant and will always come back. Lots of love for spice merchant- from Holly Fryer
Amazing Indian restaurant, I went for my birthday and I have to say it was incredible. Has a great menu with delicious food, staff were superb and very attentive. We ordered a lot of food and I was surprised at how great the prices were. Overall I highly recommend
Staff friendly and attentive. Been three times now and they're always very welcoming. Food is good. I would say better than your average Indian/Bangladesh restaurant.
Travelling in the area. I have been visiting various Indian restaurants in my locality for the past 40 years. The whole experience here was magical. The food was beautiful, the best I have ever tasted. Thank you to the chefs, the waiting on staff, and the management. Truly a memorable experience. Highly recommended 👌

Went here 2 weeks ago for the 1st time and absolutely loved the place so returned again last night. As soon as you walk in you are made very welcome and the place has a lovely atmosphere it's busy but don't feel like it's crammed as it's such a big building , the food is amazing with great choice and advise from the staff if you need any . Will I be returning ... most definitely

Beautiful meal tonight. We had a mixture of curries, masala, madras, Balti, shashlik and rogan Josh. Absolutely so tasty and full of delicious fresh vegetables and the chicken tikka was the best. The owners and staff are all very attentive and want you to enjoy your experience. Can’t recommend this place enough. And can’t wait to come back 😛
A very busy Friday night, had not booked but they found us a table. Fabulous food, good service and very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.
This is now our 'Go to' Restaurant in Leek. The food.. The service..the atmosphere are all amazing..! The new owners Juber and Umma are absolutely lovely...they really can't do enough to make sure you feel welcome and enjoy your experience. We've been here a few times now and we can't fault it. Took my parents from out of town here and they keep mentioning how good it was. The prices are very reasonable as well. Plenty of off road car parking on site.. Pull up to that barrier and it'll open...dont forget to get the code before you leave 👍.
