This is a great pub to av a drink in. Run by friendly people and I really enjoy a drink there. Highly recommended a visit to this pub.

Brilliant lunch! Thanks very much to the staff for a very warm welcome this afternoon - 6 of us around the big table in the bar. Pulled Pork sandwich was great - 3 of us enjoyed it, the perfect light lunch, and reasonably priced, including a hot drink. Apparently we were the first to have lunch here
Dropped in with family on a day out... comfortable, great for people watching in the town. Extremely well priced, good old traditional pub with pleasant outdoor area if required ..
Now under new ownership and no longer a Marstons Pub, new management and a couple of friendly staff, doing well especially taking on a pub in these hard times
Good to see that the landlord is cracking down on drugs and anti social behaviour
Shame more pubs dont do the same

It really suffers from fhe loss of Paul, Cath, Redje and Steve. They were local legends never to be forgotten.
