The food was pretty good good. Nice Sunday Lunch meal with my family. The service was good. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the pub.
Fantastic food. Everything came out hot, not warm like some places. Even let us change things to our order. Guy behind the bar called josh, was friendly, hard working, polite and nothing too much trouble. My friend had lasagne off the specials board and it's was chunky mets pieces not mince so pleasantly surprised. Definitely returning back. Well done guys x

I went with a group of friends for a catch up we had great service, cocktails were very good value you did have to have 2 of the same to get the deal, but to be honest that wasn't a problem. I had the special chicken mushroom and stilton sauce this was very tasty and very good value. We all said we would be back.

What a fab pub! Stayed in leek for 4 nights as I was getting married nearby and we went into the red lion 3 out of the 4 nights - the only one not being the wedding night ha! They looked after us all weekend and even sorted us food out and the room upstairs with decorations so the party to continue the night after the wedding. Really attentive staff, food really tasty and all drinks reasonably priced. Thanks so much for helping to make our wedding weekend even more special.
Been Red lion a few times now for meals and drinks and a private function. For drinks it's a solid pub,meals just above average and private function we went the staff were excellent,room was just about big enough but the buffet provided was average at best.
Overall, good service and really friendly staff. They did forget a cocktail but were happy to fix their mistake when we asked
Always have a lovely visit here whether it’s for a coffee, to a cocktail or lunch out. Food is always of high quality, love the variety on the menu! Staff are lovely and will do anything to go out of their way to help you. Amazing cocktails, all round 10/10!

I visit the Red Lion regularly with friends and family, always greeted with friendly and attentive staff, the food is always to a high standard and at a good price and love the homemade lasagna. Cocktails are always good and can't beat them on price. All in all a pub that meets the needs for everybody.
Called in for a drink & found it spacious with good polite staff Nice wee decking area to sit & enjoy outside.

Very pleasant atmosphere. Wood fire, which is a rarity but added ambience. The food was delicious. I had sausages and mash with a starter of soup. Hubby thoroughly enjoyed his smothered chicken chips and peas. My daughter had a buttermilk chicken with chips. All three dishes were very filling and well worth the money. The only gripe was that they were short staffed that day. But that wasn't the staff that were running round fault. Staff are pleasant and helpful No complaints about the food at all.
This was the first time we visited The Red Lion in Leek. But would highly recommend it to any one to visit.
It dog friendly, as we had our dog with us he enjoyed all the a attention he received.
As we had booked a large party gathering we where given a room upstairs which was private for us.
We had a meal there that we pre-order, me and my partner had the scampi, Chips and mushy peas, the meal was satisfactory but we did not enjoy the mushy peas as they didn't have any flavour to them they needed a little salt or sugar.
