Went to try the vegan options - fantastic choice and really lovely staff. Had the vegan breakfast and the vegan sausages were delicious. Will definitely be heading back to try more of the vegan mains!

Our first weekend away as a family of 4. This place is a gem! Very warm and welcoming! We stayed in Room 3 which was perfect for us! Staff are so friendly. I would definitely recommend to anyone! Perfect for Alton Towers just 20mins away. Thank you so much from The Cooke Family

This is how cafes should be done; a great menu including light to roast meals, attentive service, and restful surroundings. And dogs are welcome and have their own menu! I’ve had a lovely freshly made sandwich with side salad, coleslaw, and crisps today. And tomorrow? That roast - with a glass of wine. Why not?!

We would like to thank Teresa and her husband at The White Hart for making our Wedding weekend a memorable one. We booked all 8 bedrooms for family and friends for our Wedding at The Ashes. The White Hart is on The Ashes suppliers list and we highly recommend you use them! Having a B&B rather than a chain hotel made the world of difference as we were able to mil about with no concern of other guests. The service was 5* and we would like to thank you both and all of your wonderful staff for your hospitality. The breakfasts were amazing, the buffet on the Friday evening has been mentioned by everyone and the kids meals were perfect. We would also like to thank you for being so considerate with the kids (as I know we're a large bunch!). Also, a big mention to housekeeping who made each and every room/bathroom immaculate for our stay. It's been wonderful! And if were ever back in Leek we know where we'll be booking to stay!

Every time we visit Leek we eat at the White Hart. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and it is not a problem for them to make adjustments to the meals to accommodate special diets and food choices.

Went recently for breakfast for the first time and was very pleasantly surprised. I didn't even know they had an outside area, but we noticed it and sat out there on a beautiful sunny day. Would be the perfect place for a nice lunch too or just a coffee. Oatcake fillings were very generous. Service could be better, but if you don't mind inattentive service then you'll have a good time!

I stayed at the White Hart Tearoom & B&B in Leek whist visiting a family member for a party. The tearoom is in a lovely location with loads happening near by, on the weekend we arrive there was also a market across the street. There are some lovely views in the area too, perfect for photography. The tearoom is nice and quiet and the rooms were very clean when we arrived. There's and information booklet on the desk giving you all relevant information about checkout and the WiFi too, this was very helpful. In the morning I went to breakfast that was included in the price. The breakfast had a large variety to choose from and it was served quickly. Staff were friendly and happy to help with anything. The only thing we were alittle unsure of was parking as I am disabled. I was told parking was free after 3pm but I was unsure if I was leaving my car in a suitable location overnight. Really enjoyed my short stay and would love to visit again in the future.

Visited for brunch on a rainy Saturday. Very impressed by the service as we entered. Friendly and welcoming. Old style/vintage decor and that cosy feeling when you come in. Good menu with plenty of choices including breakfast and lunch. Prompt order taking and a very good price. Ordered a tea and english breakfast and was impressed by the amount of tea and the amount of food. Freshly cooked and prompt. Dog friendly which is always a plus and you can even order a dog breakfast. Great place to visit for lunch or breakfast. Recommended if you’re in Leek.

Lovely Vegan Breakfast. Plenty of food, not greasy at all, plate arrived hot keeping everything warm longer. Lovely staff too. Its the small touches that made this my current fav place in leek for a vegan lunch.

No parking if staying overnight but there are public car parks close that aren't too expensive. Rooms are a bit tired but good value for the money (we paid £65 includong breakfast). Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Our first visit today and my friend and I had a lovely lunch. Our jacket potatoes were served within minutes of our order being placed. They were oven baked and came with a delicious homemade filling and fresh mixed salad. The atmosphere was lovely and we were able to relax without feeling we had to leave in a hurry. Prices were reasonable too. Look out for us - we’ll be back!
