Stumbled upon this place by accident and so glad we did. The whole atmosphere was relaxed and the staff were very friendly. The food was delicious, best we’ve had in a long time and all home cooked. The puddings were delicious too. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely come back again.
Found this place on Motorhome pub stopover site .Lovely old pub. Warm welcome. Fantastic food. We both had Rump steak.... Lovely. Good beer. Dog friendly. And John even opened early to let us to use facilities...Thoroughly recommend if your in or around Leek.
On Saturday 22nd July 2017, the very lovely Julie and John hosted our wedding reception at The Abbey Inn. It was the best day ever!
It was the first time they had catered for such an occasion at the Inn.... and we can honestly say the day was faultless! The food was superb, the day relaxed, and not one thing was too much trouble. All our guests had nothing but compliments for Julie, John, their staff, the Inn and the food. Thank you all for making our day so special.
If you are ever in need of a venue for a relaxed party or gathering, this is your place!

The Abbey Inn is one of those timeless establishments that you can visit every day and never get bored. It's a mixture of very old and new tied together with not so old. The welcome is warm and friendly, John is a fine chap having years of experience in the catering trade. He keeps his beers very well and his other half runs a tight ship in the kitchen. The quality of food produced is making my mouth water just thinking about it. I cannot recommend The Abbey Inn highly enough.
A beautiful setting with fantastic owners and amazing food. Found it on Google and I can recommend it highly. Great food, great value. thank you for having us.
I don't normally go out of my way to rate places and stuff but this is one of the nicest ones I've been to for a long to time! very caring genuine people and the food is Devine, they even did me half a desert cos I didn't want a full one, fabulous! Well priced good quality food with a great atmosphere
What a lovely little place. Nipped in for a drink and lunch looking over the valley. Beautiful view. Very friendly owner.
Lovely and friendly staff and a nice place with excellent food
My son and daughter in law and granddaughter took me here to celebrate Mother's Day. The hosts were fabulous as they couldn't do enough for us. They were very hospitable. The food was delicious and I will be returning again. I would definitely recommend it
Top notch food here, faultless roast! Welcoming hosts, good beer selection (bottles and on tap) and interesting old building. What more could you ask for?
We attended a beautiful wedding at the Abbey Inn. The landlady, Landlord and their staff worked tirelessly day and night to make it so special! Beautiful setting, beautiful flowers, amazing food and nothing was too much trouble.
Beautiful place people are fantastic and friendly ,food is great
Food absolutely beautiful, well worth a visit, very attentive to your needs and fantastic with my gorgeous little boy.
Just been here for lunch with a friend, sat outside very pleasant, friendly staff and food was beautiful. Highly recommend and see you again soon.
An unexpected and valued find, after a long walk around Tittersworth we had no real hope of finding anywhere to eat, so we're settling for a quick drink, when we came across the Abbey Inn. We had a splendid welcome, splendid service, wonderful food, utterly exceeded our expectations, will certainly be returning here, many thanks.
Amazing food! Friendly, family run and orientated pub. Food was beautifully presented and cooked. Best Peppercorn sauce in the world! My 10 year old daughter was able to choose anything from the menu in a 10 year old portion size and she gave the food a 10 out of 10. Definitely worth a visit.
Could not be more welcoming and accommodating. My wife is vegetarian and also needs a gluten free diet, nothing on the menu but the chef came out, discussed her needs and offered to make a veggie curry. All the food was home made and delicious. Highly recommended
Excellent Sunday lunch. The beef was so tender and succulent. Puddings were amazing too. All homemade. Beautiful location and friendly atmosphere. Definitely recommend and would definitely go again.
Very nice and friendly. Food excellent. Service just at the right speed. Staff are great. John and Julie are very welcoming and hard workers. The setting of the pub is superb. Look forward to our next visit in the spring.
Excellent Inn with a friendly welcome and delicious food. A lovely old building. Nothing fancy or pretentious foodwise but all very well-prepared, presented and most important of all very tasty. My steak was cooked perfectly. They always have at least a couple of locally brewed real ales which are both unusual and very drinkable. We were here in the evening but there is a superb view from elevated position and we will definitely come back in the day time to enjoy it. The Sunday lunch is recommended. They also have a holiday cottage for rental if that is of interest.
Stopped here for an impromptu lunch whilst walking on a Wednesday afternoon. We had a lovely light meal. The leek & potato soup was delicious & I can recommend the warm roast beef sandwiches. The bread was so fresh with thick slices of beef.
Had a very nice meal, the steak was fantastic. The beer was great and my chocolate brownie was delicious. The staff wete also very helpful with my nut allergy. I will be returning soon.
I had a fantastic birthday dinner here with a large group of friends. Alison was very relaxed and accommodating, and the pub itself is beautiful. Great food and wine. Would definitely recommend!
We had the most incredible meal here at the Abbey Inn. Homemade bread I wish they sold as loafs to go, fresh salmon and hummus...The homemade desserts really put us over the edge! We got the homemade posset and sticky toffee pudding, both we an absolute TEN. A must go! And dog friendly!!
Been here for evening meals on three occasions and been super impressed with the food and the service...run by a very friendly husband and wife team along who along with their staff make you feel right at home..if it's scrumptious home cooked food that feed's the soul that you're after, this is the place to come.
Today we had the Sunday beef roast with trimmings and the beef is so good it's almost supernatural, the roast potatoes are caramelized to perfection and creamy/fluffy inside. Without a doubt the best pub roast we've ever had!
We will without a doubt be back to spoil ourselves very soon!
