Really enjoyed our meal here. The shawarma platter was so fulfilling. Grilled skewers were tender and flavourful. Ambience on point- peaceful and refreshing! Definitely worth a visit!
Great place to go with family or friends or just by your self. Staff was very nice and gave us some extras with out meal for free. The starter selection was nice and the hummus is amazing. The shawarma meal is niceeee. All wrapped n chopped with a side of salad and chips. The lentil soup was nice and at a perfect temperature. The naan bread was perfect. Good temperature, nice and soft, just great. The atmosphere of this place is nice. Lighting is nice and the entire place is all authentic. Great thing about the employees is that they do warn you in person if you have any allergies so you can eat safely without having to worry about getting a allergic reaction. Prices for the food is not bad and its not too overpriced.
The food is always good. I was quite impressed with the staff. When the Shawarma Fettah was removed from the menu, I asked the staff and they have kindly made it for us. It was as delicious as always.
The service is always excellent. (Israa, Yamen and Mohamed were just brilliant).
We came to Bab Tooma for dinner and we were served by Stephanie. The atmosphere was lovely; we felt welcomed and looked after. The food was really well-balanced with good spices and flavours that all flowed together very well.
Amazing food, great atmosphere and really lovely service. Definitely recommend. Was our first visit and will be back again - kids really enjoyed the food!
Had a good evening here with my wife. We enjoyed the vibe, the food, music and dessert.

Great catch up with friends enjoyed lentil soup, chicken dish, houmous and bread. Strawberry mojito very sweet but so good! Good staff and customer service. This is my second time here previously it was a weekend and so busy was watching a while to be served. This time weekday evening had no problems with service and speed of food.

A different experience and food from the norm. A good menu variety, BYOB soft drinks served. Service charge added but acceptable.

The food is amazing, the complimentary lentil soup served before the meal is a lovely addition and they even made us a dish that they didn't have on the menu anymore (chicken fatteh). It was our third or fourth time here and we've enjoyed every meal we've had!
Visited for the first time on a quiet Thursday evening and will return. Service was fantastic and the bonus lentil soup was an unexpected treat. Mains were great and the Turkish coffee was a whole new experience, one to be repeated.
As a Syrian living in Leeds this was truly a Syrian experience as mentioned in the restaurants motto. Food was delicious and a wide range of options was available for everyone will definitely come again and highly recommend!!
Tried lamb shoulder, chicken shawerma,kibbeh, and other appetisers. Taste was way better than expected. One of the best in Leeds for sure. Would come back many times in shaa Allah.
Saturday 25th Feb 2023 visited. Really nice food, staff were excellent. A nice but powdery tasting soup was served free of charge to start with. We shared a meat platter and it was really really nice. The meats were cooked and nicely flavoured, it came on a bed of rice.
The metal dish it came on was not hot and so the food wasn't hot either. We asked for it to be heated up and that was no problem, although their idea of hot and ours are different.
No alcohol served here but you can bring your own or buy it next door at the off licence.
Overall though would highly recommend eating here. Enjoyed the meal.

Are you looking for a Syrian / Arab restaurant in Leeds? Then don't look any further. Bab Tooma is the real deal.
After searching for an Authentic Syrian restaurant, We bumped into this one then made our way here for dinner. It's easily accessible as it's located on high street, easy free parking in the area. Absolutely amazing, the interior and atmosphere is exquisite.
The starter and main meal were absolutely delicious. We had a ‘feast’ to share between the three of us. Restaurant staffs were customer focused and very friendly most especially Faisal . Overall, it was unforgettable experience and we will return to try out more dishes.
