Best pizza in Leeds. It offers something a little bit different from anywhere else too. 3rd visit and each time it’s been spot on.
The garlic knots are incredible, the portion size is huge too. So good! And the range of starters leave you in danger of not fitting in pizza.
The cheesy crust on the rectangle Detroit style is like the crispy best bits from cheese toasties overspill but in a pizza. And the rise on that dough is so clever. Generous toppings.
They have the full range of pizza to make sure everyone in the fam is happy. The toppings are genius combos too.
And they sell the best Sardinian beer (Ichnusa) which takes me back to thinking I’m on holiday. And there’s always a ton of leftovers for the next day.
I lived in Leeds for 4 years and never knew about this gem, I’m appalled it’s taken me this long!! I now have a tradition which is “payday pizza”, once a month I come from Harrogate to get THE best Detroit pizza around, it’s absolutely flawless. I have tried all different Detroit style pizzas around the area but nothing hits like pizza freak, and the garlic knots… UNREAL!

My favourite place to get pizza. Most authentic Detroits I’ve had and their freak fries are awesome too. The staff are always brill. It’s always a great day if we get to have pizza freak. One little request though…..please make the fox in the henhouse a permanent pizza! Best combination of ingredients I’ve ever had. I’ve got pizza withdrawals!
Lovely little pizza place in Kirkstall! Pizzas ae huge and some very unique flavours, and let's not forget the garlic knots - those alone are worth a visit.
Anyone who loves pizza needs to get their order in to Pizza Freak. The pizzas are always delicious but the Detroit's are just on another level. (We've worked our way through the menu!)
We always get delivery both at home and with friends. We've only ever had one problem with an order (no-one at fault - there was a technical issue) but the team were great, sorted everything quickly. Great customer service on top of gorgeous food at very reasonable prices.

Overall a great Pizza restaurant. It has a good atmosphere and good service too. Can't go wrong. Pizzas are big and they don't slack on topping which is nice. Recommend the Nacho Chicken special and the pepperoni pizza. However although this may sound picky the wait times are long (but worth it) and they could cut the pizzas properly as they would be just ready to eat.

Literally the best pizza I’ve ever had, it even beats the many pizzas I’ve had in the US. The Detroit style fortune pizza is absolutely unreal, the cheesy crust on the outside is incredible. They must use very high quality ingredients because every single aspect of the pizza is top notch. Great value for money and I would recommend this place to anyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
