I came to Shimlas for the first time with my family and was met by a warm and welcoming and very friendly service. I immediately felt relaxed and thought this will be a nice atmosphere to dine in.
The food was very tasty and full of flavour and speed of service was impeccable and professional.
There is a nice variety of dishes and desserts to choose from.
Would definitely recommend and highly recommend!!
Mahdu and Hajra are outstanding servers. It was super busy and they were running around trying to keep all the customers happy. 100% these girls deserve a raise, both worked so well under pressure seating customers, taking orders, bringing food out. Food was nice.
I was one of the first to enjoy the new breakfast menu at Shimlas and it did not disappoint. The lahori breakfast at Shimlas was amazing! The chana had just the right amount of seasoning and wasn't too oily. The breakfast box could easily satisfy two people who don't usually have breakfast. But the star of the show for me was definitely the aloo paranta. I love mine with lots of spice! And let's not forget about the desi tea, it really complemented the whole meal. 5 stars for sure! 🌟🍳☕️

Visited with my wife for the first time as we drove past it a lot and thought it looked nice from the outside. Sadly, the inside decor doesn't match the outside. It's OK, nice and clean enough, nothing special, but I guess it's not trying to be anything fancy. We ordered the naga wings and wings in cheese sauce and the donner kebab in naga creamy sauce. We ordered the donner as we thought the wings would be just a starter as the prices were cheap for 8 wings with chips. We were told the wait would be 25 mins for the food, which at 6 pm and a pretty empty venue was reasonable. After waiting 45 mins, we had to chase up the food. The food came, and the wings' meals were bigger than expected, more like main courses. They looked good and tasted even better. I would say they were some of the best wings we had ever eaten. They were huge and so crispy, and the sauces there were covered in were yummy. The portions were so big we didn't even get to eat the donner meal, so we took that home. The thing I would change is that there was too much sauce. They should put the sauce on the wings and leave the chips as they are. Otherwise, all you taste is the sauce. We tried the donner meat, which was nice enough, same issue though as there was so much sauce that's all you could taste. I'm guessing if I wasn't so full and just ate the donner, it would have been yummy with salad and naan. All said, I will definitely be back for them wings as they were gorgeous. I'll just ask for no sauce on the chips and hope they can deliver. The mixed grill is the one I want to try next. The curries people had looked OK. I don't order curries as we cook good curries at home. Wings and grilled food are what I can't be bothered making. Go on, give this place a try! Won't cost you the earth, and there will be something you'll enjoy. The waitresses were pleasant, too.
We came Leeds to meet our friend and they suggested us to try out food here for a nice Indian dishes. Staff were welcoming and really polite, there wasn’t much of a rush but it could get busier other days. Few items were okay but few items were really delicious. I specially like the lamb chomps and Fried fish, I would definitely add it to must try. Overall restaurant is decent and serve good food. Do keep in mind on busier days the service could be sluggish and they could even forget items you ordered.
P.S - Mindful while ordering breads as they are bigger than normal one
Food was excellent and the staff were really friendly. Will definitely come again and highly recommend to anyone who wants flavorful and authentic food!
I had a nice authentic dinner here. I had the Veg mixed starter and the recommended Mutton Handi served with naan. I liked the cheese, the curry is well flavoured. I got a good street view as well when I was eating.
I was pleased to be served by Madhu the waitress. She helped explain the dishes and friendly.
Lovely restaurant, really enjoy the good here. Menu has a wide selection food, taste is authentic, fresh ingredients and signature Naga sauce is amazing. Staff are friendly and atmosphere is great. The only downside side is the parking. Which is not the fault of the restaurant.

Their cuisine is quite excellent. They offer competent services. The surroundings were excellent as well. They also provide you a prayer mat if you wish to pray.

Wow wow wow! Ive passed this restaurant loads since it opened, and I’m so glad I called in! The staff Moin and Sania were super friendly and really helpful. The restaurant was very popular. The food was delicious! The chicken had so much flavour, the naan was fresh and warm, loved it ! I will definitely be back x

First time visiting for me and my husband, The food was very tasty and the service from Hasan and Athira was outstanding and very friendly. Hasan recommended the meat handi curry and chicken Sharma both where spot on, we will be visiting again and highly recommend
Brilliant food, chicken donner was very tender and was cooked perfectly. The daal was spiced just as requested and was very tasty. Lamb Biryani was very falvoursome and the portions are big and very good value. Really enjoyed the mocktail too. Service was great with friendly staff, interior was lovely and cosy as well. I can confirm that this place is as good as the reviews say!

We had a group booking here today with our family and friends and was really impressed with their food and service.
We had some issues initially about the cooling and toilets but one of your staff member dealt with everything very professionally.
Don't know her name but a tiny little girl my mom was really impressed with her she sort everything within seconds and waited patiently to confirm our order as we were a big group. We don't need need to wait for anything as we got everything without even asking. I wish if I could give a 100 stars. Absolutely delicious food, stunning service and they got the best music selection which I have noticed and is very different from other restaurant s.
