The food is amazing. I had the goat curry which is not on the list. I was given a free dumpling never tried before. Omg it was beautiful, you can eat on its own or used for the sauce of the curry.. yep I did both options.

Absolutely exceptional food! So glad that I finally managed to go here after months of cycling past. What a great find right on my doorstep, I will not be going anywhere else if I'm in a bind for food.
I had the goat curry, which was sublime. We also had the spicy potato curry - which was spicy, and the jackfruit. Everything was incredible, and the dumplings complimented it all perfectly.

I’ve lived all around the country London being my longest were the selection of different shops is huge so I have tried so many Afro Caribbean food.
Expected golf ball size dumpling to received tennis ball sized dumplings and the jerk chicken is just amazing went perfect with the also perfect rice not stodgy very fluffy
All cooked within 2 metres from you allowing you to watch the whole process and allow you to have a great conversation why you wait.
Leeds needed this place.

Wanted to try this place for a while, on a whim we ordered and are soooo glad we did! We got curry goat, off the bone jerk chicken both with coconut rice, dumplings, jerk gravy and fish rolls. The pricing is really good, the portions are great, lasted us 2 days! The dumplings are huge! Like the size of a big scotch egg, wasn’t expecting that size for the price. We collected and our order was ready bang ontime, the man and woman in there were lovely, welcoming, friendly and make bloody good food! Really great find, can’t wait to order again and try other things.
Best jerk chicken in Leeds, nice and spicy and full of flavour! Mega portions and humongous dumplings. Definitely my new go-to for proper comfort food 😋

I cannot even begin to describe how nice this food is, but telling you that I eat it twice a week minimum might just go some way in doing that!
Honestly the menu choices are superb. Jerk chicken wings are literally falling off the bone, sweet and spicy goodness that will leave you wanting more. The curried goat is excellent with their coconut rice, very filling. All the main courses are unique and delicious and you won’t find anything quite like in the Armley area for sure.
There’s a number of sides to choose from too. I really like their fish cakes which are not like any fishcake you’ll like have tried before. They’re awesome.
The prices are outrageously cheap for food that is so fresh and the portion sizes are so good. They also do these ‘puff puffs’ which are like flavoured doughnut balls and come in three flavours (chocolate, plantain and vanilla if I recall). They’re light and delicious (I’d recommend one portion per person to avoid fighting because you will battle to the death over these things)
They also have a number of bubble teas, trifles and other options popping up. The banana bread trifle is unreal and made freshly on the day.
They’ve started doing jerk chicken salads with a coleslaw that has a fruity and slightly sharp taste for something light in this hot weather, and there’s also vegan options now appearing. I’ve visited so many times I’ve spoken to the owners who are really keen to make their menu as flexible and accommodating as possible and have been adding and adapting their meals to meet customer demands a lot, so I’d recommend adding the Facebook page to see what’s coming up. They’re also on TikTok for the trendy consumers out there!
I really want these guys to succeed because they’re a new business who are genuinely passionate about their culinary skills and put their heart and soul into what they do. You will not be disappointed with the options.
First time trying Afro Spice and it did not disappoint. Ordered Goat Curry, rice n peas and it was spot on. The food was still hot when delivered and the delivery driver was very polite. Will definitely be ordering again 👍🏻

First time ordering tonight, really nice food and olenty of meat for the price 👍also they took a small while due to problems with there delivery driver , however one of the owners brought it by getting her daughter out of her home to bring her , she was very apologetic and even told me she will sort me something extra next order ,so i highly recommend the reastraunt thankyou
