White House is 5 minutes walking from Roundhay Park. Cosy, posh and dog friendly where you can enjoy your Sunday roast as you are at home. Good choice of dishes, staff professional and friendly. Your dog will be a king there. Great parking outside. Amazing place. I would suggest specials and burghers.

Lovely food, you get lots with your portion which makes the price worth it! Great location next to Roundhay park, you can go for a walk in the park and head here for a roast and some drinks. Nice outdoor area with lots of greenery and flowers. Staff are accommodating to gluten free

A lovely evening…it looks so much brighter and more modern since the refurb…classy furnishings and friendly, professional staff.👌🏻 We ordered lasagna and steak pie but had to comment on the lasagna being very dry. The waitress was super professional and took it back to the kitchen. She came back and asked if there was anything my mum would like instead. She ordered the gammon and said it was perfect! A cup of tea came with a homemade chocolate biscuit 😋…and once the waitress discovered it w as my mums birthday, she had another 3!!!! Even the toilets have had a refurb and we’re only let down by one of the locks being non existent…typically the cubicle I chose as well! However in all truth, we really enjoyed the ambience, service and food. Thank you for making it special ❤️

Amazing, amazing place! It was raining so we stayed inside. Beginning of June and the fire was on, creating a lovely, cozy atmosphere. We loved everything here: the big parking, the colorful display of flowers at the entrance, the fact that our 3 dogs were more than welcome by the staff. They received blankets, treats and a bowl of water. The food was so tasty and I was impressed with the size of the Yorkshire Pudding. I don't have words, so the pictures will hopefully do them justice. I haven't had such a delightful meal in a long time. The ladies toilets were so colourful, extremely clean, smelling lovely and having nice soap and hand lotion. The staff is so attentive, so careful, so accommodating. This is by far one of the loveliest places I have ever been.

We came on a early Saturday evening a couple of weeks ago Although we had booked and seated in the the restaurant we chose to be relocated to the bar area which wasn’t a problem The staff were very accommodating especially Claire Both our meals were lovely I ordered something that I’d never normally order, but for some strange reason on the menu it drew me in I was not disappointed We will definitely be returning soon, thank you

Visited with family on a Friday afternoon, spur of the moment decision so didn't have a booking. Seated almost straight away no issues. I has the sea bass and seared scallops, mum had lasagne, nan had fish and chips. They were all amazing (obviously tried a bit of each!) Slightly more expensive than a regular pub meal but definitely worth it. 10/10 recommend

Can highly recommend this place as a party venue. The function room is a great size and layout with bar. Claire was lovely and so helpful as were all the staff. Would definitely book this again.

Returned to the Whitehouse yesterday along with 60 other family and friends to celebrate a 60th wedding anniversary. Absolute top notch from start to finish. The buffet food was delicious. The bar staff were friendly and accommodating throughout. The function room was immaculately turned out I cannot fault the sevice in any way that Adam and his team provided. All our needs and requirements were met to a high standard. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone.

Lovely Sunday Lunch. Dog friendly may suit many but barking and lap dog at table was a bit much for us non doggy people. Friendly and efficient staff. Food was brilliant with lots of menu choice. Old Speckled Hen on draught went down a treat and background music suited my middle of the road taste but certainly wasn't run of the mill stuff. Would definitely make a return visit and hope to get lucky with a dog free section.

Stopped in for lunch for the first time in a long while. The food was fantastic as was the service- very accommodating. Even the dog was offered a huge portion of food which he wolfed down! Felt very well looked after by the staff. Really lovely visit.

Just had amazing breakfast at the White House, can’t believe I’ve never had breakfast here before. Great service, food quality and surroundings. Also dog friendly with water and dog treats available. Definitely will be back here for breakfast 👍 thank you 🙏

A nice little trip to the Whitehouse. The building is going through renovation so this reduced the car parking spaces available, maybe ring ahead to see if there are spaces. 3 adults and a 14month old, we requested a high chair on booking. This wasnt setup at the table. It was a busy day but from seating to drinks service it was around 15 minutes. We had to request the high chair too. The venue did provide childs crayons, but nothing to use them on. Food was nice. Highly recommend the rib on the bone. The rest of the party had sunday lunch, turkey, beef usual. Tatties were chewy and hard so obviously precooked and reheated. Other than that it was a nice visit.
