One of the better services you can visit , modern , clean , layout works well , plenty of parking and a good selection of convenience options. It’s all housed in seemingly the latest eco wrapping with a grass roof. Access too and from the motorway is quick via a roundabout … best of all when I’ve visited it’s never been over crowded.

Very pleasant services and amazingly clean and no litter unlike majority of service stations. British breakfast of a bacon and sausage bap plus cappuccino was excellent nourishment and break. Ideal outdoor terrace to relax.

Loved the design of this place with the living roof. Great seating area outdoors, with a well designed place area for the children. Usual range of shops and facilities, but liked the thought that had gone into it's design!

An up to date service station - 2023. You can find here plenty food stores with ample seating, a large petrol station, with a large shop, very large car parks (cars, lorry's, coaches). There's also a new park behind the service, kids playing area, etc.

I'll tell you how good Skelton Lake is. We will drive out of our way simply to visit! In other words, it has become a destination in its own right!!! With so many popular eateries, it's easy to choose something delicious. The access is top notch throughout. The toilets are five star. I don't have a bad word to say about it!

Disabled toilets were fantastic! Clean, spacious, hoist, adult changing table *and* height adjustable sink; my only 'critique' is that the tissues are a little far from the toilet. Otherwise, the services were clean, modern, with a food court feel/range of food. Pizza express was a nice change from the usual McDonald's or KFC

Brilliant services with lots to see and do while having a break on a long journey, even a rspb bird viewing area, although locked in a Sunday evening.

One of the best MSAs on the network. Plenty of food options, good dog exercise areas if you're traveling with a furry friend. Bright and spacious. 1 downside, with over 50 spaces for truck parking, there really should be more than 2 showers, 1 of which is closed for repairs.

This was a great stop off on our way to the North East, plenty of free parking, Burger King, KFC etc. Had a snack and then headed to the little play area outside, kids had a great time here. Great place to stop and stretch your legs.

Loads of parking, lots of different food vendors and clean toilets. The only thing that let the area down was the seating areas to eat your food. As others have said, the tables were somewhat filthy and needed someone to wash and wipe down but the food I had was really quite nice.
