El Gato Negro Tapas - Leeds - Photo album

The food was absolutely brilliant, but without the deals pretty expensive if you want a good feed. Staff are nice etc but you do have to order at the bar. Worth a visit
Great service that was helpful and delightful. The food was excellent and we tried pretty much everything except the squid. A highlight was the superb cocktails. I would definitely revisit. A true delight.
Ate here in a group of 4 on a Wednesday night. The food was very good, but it was let down a bit by service. The restaurant didn’t have our reservation on arrival and although the people serving us were really friendly, drinks took a long time and it took 20+ minutes to get the bill. That said, the
Lovely little treat to have a tapas lunch here. The service was excellent and despite it being Mother's day we managed to get a walk in table. The food was delicious and the portion sizes perfect if you want to share, which is what tapas is all about. The setting is comfortable and the prices are re
A brilliant find and now our favourite tapas venue in Leeds. Both the food and service was fantastic. Can't wait to go back! Latest visit gave us chance to sample the new arancini. Fabulous, definitely worth a try.
Love tapas and this place didn't disappoint! The restaurant is over two levels (that I could see) We were on the second level opposite the bar. The staff were friendly and service was quick! Order about 4 to 5 dishes between two people .. they will be delivered as they are ready and in no particula
I went here for a lunch deal after having a heavy spending weekend! 3 dishes for £15 and you can’t go wrong really. Cheap and cheerful, and what you would expect for this price. Still good tasty food, decent portion sizes too but not fine dining at all. I found the service friendly but a bit unprofe
Very enjoyable impromptu lunch, spoilt by the fact we were not told before hand that we needed to vacate our table by a certain time, so felt we were rushed at the end when we were told we had to move
Lovely welcome upon arrival. Every customer is asked if they have any food intolerances and staff take great care in explaining the menu to accommodate any food issues. The tapas are served as and when it's ready to ensure it comes out fresh, instead of waiting for the whole tables order to come ou
Unbelievable food here! Best tapas I’ve had in Leeds. Service was also very good, attentive but not too attentive. We sat upstairs in some comfy booths. Great value for the quality.
Really enjoyed some of the plates. Especially the salt cod croquettes, the steak skewers, the meatballs and the Padron peppers. The building is nice (an old bank where Jamie’s Italian used to be). They have a good selection of wines and cocktails.
food was lovely, very overpriced and the strawb ice cream was abit freezer burnt :( not the best value for money but was an upmarket fancy place so was expected. the staff were wonderful and the chicken thighs were to die for <3 would recommend for a fancy treat - we went for valentines. they do add
Good light lunch for £15. Food is very nice and well cooked, the staff are friendly and helpful. A good Michelin restaurant.
Nice Tapas restaurant great service we were well looked after. Food is good but not great Cauliflower and cheese croquettes very good ham average. Wine pricey. But would for sure go again.
