Husband's steak pie very nice. I had roast chicken. A bit dry and not huge.
Homemade chips though were absolutely beautiful.
Husband's tea gone cold while eating meal and asked for more hot water but they gave him another cup of tea free , which was nice.
I like the Balcony cafe. The staff are so friendly, the only problem I had was...i ordered a apple crumble & custard, but they only had ice cream, so i had it with ice cream but half through (i was really enjoying it) then i found something in it, not sure what it was but it put me off so i left it. Otherwise i really enjoyed my main meal.
Me and my son went today, we had the pork dinner,
We both enjoyed it and as we were leaving they brought my son some slices of gammon as it wasn't ready at the time, think we found our new Sunday spot

This cafe is sadly no longer open, though for me and the family, it was a key place in our regular visits to Mention Center. The two twin brothers were confusing for a while, but with quality food and drinks, a service that was above and beyond, you can understand why it was a place for us. It is well missed.
Had the lasagne and chips. Lasagne was delicious and the chips were delicious. Nice not to be given anaemic frozen chips for a change. Staff were lovely and friendly. Thank you x
