Nice new bar. 1st time we've been in. Normally go to the OG on Mill Hill which has a better selection on Cask and Belgium beers on Draught tbf. Nice vibes though but a bit expensive. 2 drinks came in at just over £19..

First visit to this chain bar. Large industrial interior plus outside seating on the pedestrian concourse. Great real ale selection from breweries such as Vocation, Camerons, Brass Castle and Brew York. Paulicarus chose a pint of 4.8% Golden Ale from Northern Monk. Very good. Only slight downside was all of the beers tended to be on the stronger side; including one 8%! When on a session he likes a session beer.

Went for the Head of Steam in Leeds city centre with friends. Food was great, cocktails were fab. The staff was amazing. Made sure we never ran out of drinks, was very attentive to the tables he was serving and was really friendly and chatty. We'll definitely be back.

Usually love the place. But on this occasion, bar staff didn't look further than their nose, and only served customers in front of them. Love Saturday afternoon when the DJ bangs out some great Indie tunes.

Love this place so much. Excellent selection of beers, wines & spirits & small brewer craft beers & ciders. Plenty of helpful staff always on hand, never had to wait at the bar. Doggy friendly too, our large greyhound is always mobbed by the staff here. Great food too.

Met here before we went to Riva Blu. Great selection of World beers celebrating Halloween. Excellent service from a great team. Definitely go here, you will not be disappointed.

Came in with a friend, and we had a great experience. The staff member on bar was brilliant, super friendly and happy to recommend drinks for us when asked (we fancied some sour beers). They also helpfully informed us about taster evenings and other drinks we might like to try in future, but it didn't feel uncomfortable or like upselling (very subtle but important difference). Plus, the bar itself was quiet, had a great playlist selected and we had a chilled few hours drinking some great drinks. What more could you want?

Great service, nice seating. Sundays far less hectic than Saturdays. Good selection of German beers.

Good pub, plenty of seating unlike the other Head of Steam in Leeds, not sure about the DJ though, loud music wasn't adding to the atmosphere on a sunday afternoon

Feels like a high-end American Brew Pub Chain If I walked into this place in Colorado Springs, this is about what I'd expect to find. The place is huge and it's obviously had a ton of money spent on it. The beer-on-tap selection is good, while the bottled/canned selection is positively heroic. Prices are about what you'd expect for a high-end city-center craft beer pub. The only minor bugbear was that the bar was understaffed, given the number of people in the place during my visit. This made waiting times somewhat longer than they needed to be. Despite that, service was friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere warm and cordial. I'll be giving this place another shot next time I'm in town.

Great place for a change of pace from busy bars and clubs to catch-up properly with friends. Music isn’t too loud and you can have proper conversations!

Great place with a fantastic range of drinks. I wasn't keen on the music, but I love my dance music. Games were fun.

Great venue with a really good selection of beers and some decent food options. Good central location in Leeds with shuffle-board as well!
