Really love this place. So tranquil on a quieter day or further into the gardens. Great for children as the play area is huge. They have nice locally made products on their shop, all the amenities and cafe's needed. Ample parking which is good. They've got rid of the bird cages which is for the best

We were pleasantly impressed. The gardens are beautiful. We spent most of our time there. Then on entering the house, we wished that we had more time to enjoy the delights, treasures and history preserved in this beautiful house. A return trip is needed.
Beautiful park. Have rare bits to wonder around. Dog friendly. Also have deers in some areas. Definitely worth checking out. Ideal for picnics in a nice warm weather.
This place was amazing! All the staff are volunteers but they were super friendly and so knowledgeable. Some of the history and stories in here were just great. It is a real journey through opulence and a rare glimpse to the past. The craftsmanship of everything in the main house is a wonder.

Everything about my visit here was great. There are various walks to do. We chose to do them all. Stunning. The house didn't disappoint, so much better than I expected.
