Me and my partner went tonight for a meal and i must say the food was great and staff were lovely very attentive and couldn't of been more helpful, but a big shout out to Lloyd and Megan who attended our table they were fantastic with great customer service skills. Food was great and steak was cooked to perfection... The pub its self is also lovely and has a good atmosphere.. Would highly recommend.

We came for lunch after visiting Tropical World and found a nice table by the window for two adults and a child. We ordered our food and it came pretty quickly, staff were polite and friendly. I think we were lucky to order before the lunch time rush as it got quite busy not long after we ordered, but was a nice environment and enjoyed our food (which there was plenty of). Will come back next time we're in the area.

Came from South Yorkshire for Boxing Day lunch before visiting family in Leeds, so the venue was an unknown quantity. Great value menu and the staff were extremely attentive. Had a lovely meal. Only minus was the toilets which had loo roll all over the floor as the dispensers hadn't been refilled, but paper stacked on the back of the loos, but that possibly says more about the lack of care of some of the clientele !

My daughter and I took her grandparents for a walk around the gardens of roundhay park then called in for some lunch. We had not reserved a table but could get seated straight away. We were offered if we wanted to eat in the bar , dogs are welcome or the restaurant, no dogs, we choose to sit in the restaurant. Could not fault the staff they were very helpful and attentive. When we asked about a disabled toilet the waiter took us to it rather than just directing. The toilets are a little tired and need an update. The pub is a very old building with it's original stone floor and beams it is just beautiful, it does make it a dark setting though, but it is just lovely. The pie of the day was steak and red wine it was huge! My daughter chose the chicken burger, sorry no photo she had started eating before I got a chance she said it was so good. Mum and I shared the king prawn linguini and green and grains salad. The linguini was absolutely delicious 😋, but both felt the salad was short of leaves so made it small and was expensive for what you got. We had a lovely afternoon, would definitely return and recommend to others.

What a lovely place. We visited Saturday 15rh July 2023. Party of 6. Our server Grace was so lovely. Nothing was too much trouble and she was friendly, polite and all with a lovely smile. The food was amazing. So so tasty, hot and delivered within a good time frame. I can only give 5 stars on this review bur it was definitely worth more.

I chose the trio Sunday lunch for £19 and it was outstanding! I couldn't finish it so they kindly gave me a doggy bag. The price of 2 bloody Mary's were £15 and they were 🔥 spicy as requested. The waitress who attended to us was super smiley and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Definitely coming back again.

The Roundhay Fox is probably the most famous pub in Roundhay area. I targeted it for a couple of years and I finally went there for a Sunday roast. We went there with our dog and there is a massiva area where you can sit. Staff professional and fast service. Sunday roast with chicken, lamb and pork, wow! Usually lamb is tricky to cook but that was so tender. Fantastic potatoes. Mention for Pies: are massive.

We had a lovely afternoon lunching at the roundhay fox last weekend. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was lovely. The cocktails were great as was the non alcoholic option (not shown) also all very reasonably priced.

Nice food, great service. Sat next to a fire escape door that was constantly being opened to get to the outdoor bit, which was a bit chilly if left open by someone accidentally.

Quaint old setting just right for Roundhay Tasteful ,atmospheric. We went on a very hot busy day which impacted on the service. Got the menu promptly but too a while to take the order, sadly my choice was not available and it took ages for the food to be served. However the food was lovely , hot and plentiful. I believe the issue was staff shortage and a busy day shame really. We will return and see if things improve.

Our Servers were Ash and Erine and we're both super fantastic. We have not been to the Roundhay Fox for a long time, my husband jokingly told them it was my birthday. After dinner the came over singing Happy birthday with the attached. The food was gorgeous and we had a super time. Thank you Ash, Thank you Erine you made my day so special.
