This is a Museum in which you can spend all day, or just bob in and see a couple of things. The staff are helpful, knowledgeable and today at any rate enthusiastic. The cafe and gift shop are well above the average and it has a good go at being inclusive and accessible. I get the impression that if you gave them examples where they could improve they’d take it on.

Every time I've been here (which is quite a lot, as I live nearby in the city centre) the City Museum has been a great way to while away a few hours or even most of the day if I've got the time. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the exhibitions are always top quality and really interesting. I particularly like the "History of Leeds" exhibition, its so fascinating to see what our city was like in the past. They always make a real effort for special collections and event days. The only complaints I have are so piffling that they aren't really complaints at all, just the fact that it sometimes gets stupidly busy - but this just proves how popular they are so they must be doing something right.

We had such a lovely morning here today during half term I can't believe this is our first ever visit! My children (5 and 8) had a great time exploring every floor and interacting with the exhibits...as did I. Special thanks to your staff member 'Joe' for the natter. Fab place

Perfect museum to visit with children. I took my 1yo, 3yo, 6yo and 8yo. And they all enjoyed very much. Lots of interactive displays for older kids to learn while having a fun. And baby/tots play ares in each sections and baby eyes of view displays as well.

Super cafe, very reasonably priced, especially for city centre Leeds. Not a massive menu but perfect for what it is, a cafe in a (fabulous) museum.
