Wanted somewhere in the area for family to meet, sit comfortably together with drinks and talk. Stables pub fitted the bill perfectly. Couldn't have chosen better.
Cracking pub away from the Hell of Headingley. Good selection of beers. Friendly staff. Brilliant sun trap in the courtyard.
Nice pub, nice outside area, well kept beer, clever reg based parking system to ensure car park available for customers. Always quieter here than I'd expect. Crisps etc over a quid, so none for me as I draw the line at a quid.
We went for a few drinks on a Sunday evening. Lovely and cosy with the fire burning when we walked in.
Kirsty was very welcoming and helpful when we chose our wine and we had a lovely evening. We were the only people in when we arrived and Kirsty offered to turn the music down so we could chat easil
We've always liked this place and it gets even better. Good Covid safety measures - lots of sanitiser, table service, staff wearing masks etc. Plenty of outdoor seating. Plus a great range of craft beer that's going to expand further.
The food is OK. I ordered a steak and kidney pudding and got an upside down pie ! No matter. The staff are lovely, and the beer is good. The atmosphere can be a bit corporate due to spill-over from the conference centre next door, but on a cold, wet evening in Leeds it is a cosy sanctuary.
After a long warm walk with a few friends we decided to nip into the stables pub today for a drink on our way back home. I never normally leave reviews but I just have to express how wonderful
The service was. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much to ask, I had a fussy frie
We hadn't booked but got a table inside in the middle of a weekday afternoon. We enjoyed our chat over a cup of tea and the cake was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Consistently superb beer selection albeit a tad pricier than usual. If you're really lucky on a hot summer day and the outside courtyard area is quiet then this place is perfect for slowly sipping a real ale in the sunshine. Recommended.
Dependable pub which is attached to the hotel. Always a range of cask beers. Nicely done conversion of actual stables - parts of which are still intact. Large outdoor area, good up until the sun goes down. Bar food is available, the chips are good.
Had a bar meal here today after our Emmerdale tour dropped us off. Food was OK but not much choice if you didn't want pie!!! Liked it was dog friendly and loved it had dog biscuits n water outside - shame we'd not got our dog with us!!!
Relaxed atmosphere a nice end to our day at my cousins funeral good vibe pleasant atmosphere and attentive staff
