Held my 50th party there and they were very accommodating and food/buffet was great value for money
Popped into the Fox and Hounds yesterday lunchtime after a cold morning taking photographs in the area (sadly only for a pot of tea) but I will say the young lady that served me was very pleasant and even say chatting to me while I was there. Very clean and tidy pub and I will return for drinks and food.
Lovely atmosphere food was great and marvellous beer. We were looked after by cheerful helpful staff .

Went in today for lunch a very nice young man behind the bar looked after us with outstanding customer service had a lovely burger each which we also got £5 off if we spent over £15 !!!!!

Our food was beautiful I had a beef Sunday dinner and my partner had a burger couldn’t have been cooked any better. My first time visiting here and I’ll definitely be back again.
Decided to pop out spontaneously on a Sunday for a meal and found this place. Very nice atmosphere inside, cosy but open. Quick and very friendly service. Food was amazing, everything seemed to be made in house and just felt and tasted amazing fresh and made to order, which given how quick and delicious it was, was a great plus. Will 100% be back again can't recommend enough.
Went for a family meal today to celebrate the birth of our newest member. Really lovely atmosphere, great food and quick/friendly service. Will definitely be back. Shout out to Chloe and Lily, as well as chef Suzy.
Food was good, drinks too. I had the Sunday menu. Nachos for starters, needed more cheese. Beef main, which came with carrots and partially roasted parsnips. Red cabbage with apple. A nice Yorkshire pudding and lots of gravy.
Apple crumble dessert and custard, which tasted nice, although the crumble was mushy not crunchy.
A little more care in the kitchen would take this from good to excellent without changing the food or cost.
Lovely outdoor seating areas. Large car park at the rear.
Great food, pub was busy, so bar service a bit slow. The meal came in good time. Steak cooked to perfection. Sold Peroni so all good.
Great pub, almost hidden away round the corner from the train station. Really friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I've been back a couple of times now and always enjoyed the reasonably priced food & drink. Parking is free, although you need to enter your reg on the machine at the bar so you don't get fined. Would recommend this pub to anyone and easily accessible by wheelchair, just let them know that you are coming so they don't seat you upstairs! Will be back again to try more food off the menu!
I would like to amend this review. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and returned as used to like this place. Upon return staff was very helpful and friendly. The food was perfect . Believe they have a new chef. Who obviously knows her stuff. Meals were back to top quality. Will return sorry about my bad review before. So glad I could amend and say 100% perfect this time. I will say a big thank you to Leisha who was so friendly kind and looked after us. I WILL RETURN.

No good at all. Very slow service and meal (steak)was just so salty was awful. Ordered desserts and waited over 1/2 and plates not cleared away . So had to clear then room for desserts. Service was atrocious to be honest and meals not up to usual standards.
Lovely Sunday, very family orientated for the football . Fantastic service at all times including food despite the high numbers due to the World Cup . We all visited from 10 to 60!!
Special mention for the young male who supported and showed concern for my daughter who had a panic attack !
It is a great pub. It is located near to the train station and is easy to find. Serves drinks and food. We usually go there and we always had a great experience. Food is really good. Staffs are really helpful.
There is free parking too.
It is also family friendly pub. I recommend going there with your friends or family.

Went for lunch for my birthday. The service was excellent, the food delicious. I had the new chicken curry, would highly recommend the fox to anyone. Leisha and her team are always happy and provide great service with a smile
