Paid our first visit to Dough in the City on Wednesday night. We were impressed by the friendly welcome and cool vibe of the bar but didn't have time to linger as we had our Xmas present of a fine dining experience waiting for us upstairs. So we settled in to the softly lit comfort of the cocktail lounge to enjoy delicious drinks including a refreshing bespoke cocktail made to suit my personal tastes and the show stopping Synergia. It was beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Feeling pretty excited we set off upstairs once more and the fine dining experience did not disappoint. Each plate a different experience: exquisitely balanced flavours and textures and all beautifully presented. The timing of each course, the wine pairings and the unpretentious but knowledgeable staff made it a night to remember. This was an innovative and skillfully executed menu. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. We can't wait to come back for brunch, Sunday roasts and to spend more time just enjoying a few drinks and the banter in Dough.

Nice little bar, expected pizza or something "dough" related but i seem to have missed the relation. Nice selection of cocktails and the food selection was good. I had the braised OX which was tender and rich with the truffle fries that the server recommended. I didn't care for the fries. My partner had the katsu curry which tasted nice but it was green and tasted more like thai curry. A suggestion to the kitchen would be not to smother the chicken in the sauce because it takes away the texture and makes it mushy. Surprised how quiet the bar was on a Friday night. They had a good selection of board games and great service. Perfect for couples or groups. We will be back.

Nicely fitted out, decent range of drinks, bar tender chatty/helpful but not overbearing. Enjoyed a very tasty Burnt Little Gem with Violet Mustard (and something else) bar snack, which appeared at our table fairly rapidly and very reasonably priced drinks. In my opinion, much nicer than many other comparable venues.

Second time at dough in the city. The food has been brilliant both times but what really won we over this time was the skill and quality of the old fashioned to cap off my night. The server read me like a book when he offered me a rye old fashioned (I am Canadian). Could not recommended this place enough. Good food. Good atmosphere. Reasonable prices.

Good seats at the window with wide window sills so your can watch the world go by. Nice choice of drinks. Think food is served in sittings, so if you go at 5pm there's none to be had, which is probably why it was quiet. Nice space; lots of board games. Think it's got potential, looking forward to trying the food.

Banging food and cocktails. Roast dinners on a Sunday for a tenner are incredible and they offer a brunch menu all day on other days, plus an evening menu. Check this place out.
