Had my 50th Birthday Bash here last night. The staff are fantastic, so accommodating. The room is lovely with the log burner. Alison, Dave and Tom and the rest of the staff did an outstanding job and arranged my DJ for the night who kept my party on the dance floor. Thank you to Luke. The food by Dave and Tom was 1st class, Lots of fab comments. Will be making this my local. Xxx
Beautiful cricket club and grounds. They do the best food there too, everything I have tried has been 5 star... especially the breakfast which I have quite often :-) The nicest, friendliest people. Perfect. X
'Square on the Lane' has recently been 'done up' and has been totally transformed into a very attractive, light, airy and welcoming coffee shop. The food was excellent and extremely modestly priced for the quality.
I don't usually bother to write FB reviews but in this instance I am because this place deserves to succeed and get lots of customers.
We held my fathers post funeral reception at the Cricket Club yesterday. The club was a lovely welcoming and airy venue, comfortably managing the 120 plus people who attended. The catering well priced and the quality was excellent and complimented by everyone. Staff were efficient and professional and kept busy at the bar. Thank you to everyone who worked yesterday to make what was a very stressful occasion as worry free as possible for us all

Its been a lot of years since i had been in mainly because it was 2 small but went in sunday 2 be nosey at the new look & its amazing so fresh & bright i will definately be spending more time in there, great pint of carling aswell
Wonderful, friendly place, comfy seats, clean toilets, helpful, kind staff. Food is lovely. Especially the salad bowls, chips and pizzas.

Yes, I know know this club. They are very friendly and accommodating. I have just book an area for an after funeral farewell get together. They also have very good cafe.
This was my 1st visit to the club, I can say as many other cricket lovers know the arena is very well set up & friendly people as expected.
I found it a great venue & will return next season , hopefully the clubhouse will be restored to its high standards after the arson attack few weeks ago.

Really nice spot, feels secluded and out of the way, but is really close to a major conurbation. Nice bar, but not a great range of proper beer. Get to watch cricket whilst drinking your beer
I have had 5 visits here during the day with husband and with friends. Such a lovely friendly family feel to this restaurant. Great service and never been disappointed with the tasty food. Due again next week, introducing yet another friend. X
Lovely and well mainted local cricket ground. Friendly and welcoming staff and good service at the bar. Plenty of seating to watch the cricket with choices of benches in the sun or seating in shaded areas. Dogs welcome around the cricket ground on a lead.
