I've seen so many posts complaining about the food and service that I find it painful this is a very respectable and founded restaurant we went as a family of 5 and had wonderful food (Ok the yorkies were a little hard to cut with blunt knives) and excellent service but at less than £10 per head for 2 courses and drinks and wonderful happy service under busy circumstances I think this place deserves more than 5 stars! ���
Excellent food and service. Would easily recommend. We waited 45 minutes for a table as there were 7 of us but well worth the wait.

The food at horsforth Toby carvery is always great. I've been there about five times and the staff are so polite and helpful. The service at fink hill tobys is great and it's always a pleasant atmosphere and a great pub to take families to.
Food was back to its best today guys, lovely new refit too, very trendy. Place was packed but no delays - back to how I remember you, great food, great atmosphere, great service ���
Myself and my Girlfriend have been here a few times and we've never had a problem with anything. Great staff, cheap enough and the food is stunning (I especially love the Parsnips). And no-one ever wants the tough grissley pieces of meat that normally get left, not to worry, give them to me ���
Went yesterday was rather packed waited at bar had a drink table was ready had a nice lunch as always. Nice place to eat.

My fiancé and I come here frequently for breakfast service. The food is always wonderful and the atmosphere is so calm and lovely in the morning! We’ve come once for dinner which was also delicious, but the atmosphere was much more energetic being the dinner rush. If you like a calm peaceful atmosphere, the breakfast service is for you!
We much prefer coming for breakfast now ☺️

First time at the Horsforth Carvery, all four of us as a family loved every minute and it was like going home to mums for dinner. It’s such a warm, welcoming, friendly restaurant and the carver was exceptional. Our server was Kath, she was absolutely brilliant, attentive, so friendly and so helpful. Can’t forget the carver he was really great too. Will definitely be going back there again, it’s a fair few miles away but worth it. 10/10
Very friendly staff, plenty of choice on menu, lots of veg choices with carvery also meats. Always tasty but on this occasion we found the carvery wasn't hot only warm it wouldn't stop us from returning though. All the salt pots were clogged and had to unscrew the lids to get salt, maybe put some grains of rice in them!!
Pudding was lovely.
Great place, foods amazing staff are so lovely, comforting and talkative. The host Eloise welcomed us with a smile and made sure we was happy with our table. Our waitress Kath did brilliant on making our Toby carvery experience wonderful. Would highly recommend 😊
This is my favourite place to come for a carvery and purely just because of 1 member of staff, a lady called Kath. She makes us feel so welcome and even knows us by our first names now. Even when they are extremely busy and things go wrong, kath makes up for it with her smile, great service and friendliness. She is an asset to the team.
Absolutely amazing staff. There was a disabled customer in who has learning difficulties. The staff were absolutely amazing with him and stood and spoke to him for ages. As a mother of 4 children. 3 of which have additional needs, this filled my heart with joy to know that the staff are treating everyone as equal. Staff names were Hollie and I think the other member of staff was Tom.
Wonderful people, wonderful service and wonderful food.
Visited at the weekend. We regularly come here as it's one of our favourite places to visit. Carvery was served in good time, however, stuffing was burnt and handles were very hot to touch so had to use napkins. My friend waited 15 minutes for a drink as staff had forgotten but were apologetic when realised. Cookie dough sundae was delicious and really enjoyed it.
Food was perfect, as always.
In this day the restaurant was busy and I could notice a lot of new team members, that made some delays and confusion. It is perfectly understandable this situation in the training time, I would suggest to keep more experiences team members than new ones in busy times to prevent issues
So we are a regular customer I have a little girl with a serious dairy allergy they know us as soon as we walk in. This is praise and I want you to understand what this means to us , so the carver today was (Liam m ) never met him before but what an experience. Explained my little girl has an allergy straight away changed all the spoons explained what she could have and not. I know they are trained on this but as a mum with a child with an allergy the way they respond is outstanding please use this information and reward him he deserves it. Also Claire (manager) also on point always understands and I never have to ask she knows my little girl’s situation and anything I need she just gets . A big thanks from our family please make sure you give big thanks to them these staff are hard to find 😊
Serving Staff were welcoming and helpful. A bit disappointed I had to wait for a chef to come out to carve the meat, a small queue developed whilst I was waiting. Once he did come out he was friendly and efficient.
Vegetables, notably peas and carrots were overheated in the containers and frankly were hard and not wonderful. The rest of the food was fine but the vegetables were overheating on the counter area.
Lovely meal food abit dry and spoons way too hot to touch under the lamp. Served by a lovely girl she had dark hair and white trainers on (28-9-23) around 7 pm
