We thought we would take the dog out for his first walk after an op. We where hungry and had never eaten at the pavillion before but thought we would give it a go. The weather was cloudy. We ordered two full English and sat outside as it was busy inside. Well we started to tuck in and the heavens didn't look favourable. A member of staff then came out and put up an umbrella for us to protect from the rain. Well not long after the heavens opened and the wind got up. The umbrella took a beating and we where getting soaked. Napkins blowing everywhere and umbrella trying to escape. We then decided we would leave after eating half a sausage...... The guy then popped out again to say we could take the dog inside. Well we tried but alas no room . Everyone beat us to it. The guy was so apologetic (even though it wasn't his fault and way out of his control ) I mean who can control the weather.? We decided to leave what looked like a lovely breakfast and run to the car. The guy then said if we popped inside we could have a refund as there was no room inside. Well we where gobsmacked. Customer service this good doesn't normally happen to us. We will most certainly go back as the staff here are fantastic and the food looks morish and very reasonable. We cannot thank all of the staff enough for looking out for us and making sure we felt really welcome. Would highly recommend this place and will most certainly return. Thanks again guys and keep up the excellent work. Special thanks goes to the cute guy who dealt with us so well.

The Pavilion catered for my daughters birthday party. Absolutely fantastic spread of food and drinks enjoyed by both the kids and adults. Fruit skewers with a parrot made out of a pineapple looked and tasted lovely. Would definitely use them again and can recommend them highly ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Really nice food, the service was also brilliant. I had the springhead special chicken burger, perfectly cooked, along with the skinny fries, I'd definitely recommend. Can't wait to go back 👌 We went for evening food, but they're open from breakfast time too, they are also top notch.

The poached egg is, in my opinion, one of life’s wonders. It’s rare to get a good quality one when you’re out and about. Turns out, the magic happens here at the Pavilion Cafe. Danielle’s Eggs Benedict was spot on. Best in the North, I’d say. The large vanilla latte was an excellent accompaniment and little Fleetwood throughly enjoyed his doggy sausage. Bacon bun with lots of tomatoes has become Caroline’s favourite weekly staple. Top service from Sam and Billy and we look forward to experiencing Terry’s poached eggs next time, which sounds like a dodgy metaphor but totally isn’t. If you’re looking for a relaxed, clean and friendly place for great quality food, you’ll find no better.

My wife & I have Regularly visit the Pavilion Cafe over the past 6 months, We have always found a friendly welcoming, Doggy friendly, spacious seating area outside and a wide range of choice from the menu with generous servings too. We have always found the service to be excellent, of course our waiting time to be seated or served may depend on the time we visit, at busy times we can expect to wait longer and we accept that because the food is always well prepared and hot on arrival . On our last visit we both chose the Rost Beef and Yorkshire pudding from the Specials board, (I can certainly Recommend it ) It was most enjoyable and cooked to perfection, Thankyou for your continued service.

Lovely little cafe , had a couple of coffees.. which were nice, needed a biscuit with them, so bought a small twix.. £1.80!!! Very expensive! So will avoid snacks there in future, but overall a nice place

Visited for lunch with friends and was warmly greeted by a pleasant young man who attended to us swiftly. The choice of food on the lunch menu was more than ample and the end result was delicious and very generous portions 😋 everyone in the group had different and all agreed was fabulous. The price was very reasonable too. Will definitely be returning to work our way through the menu ..have no bad words to say as from start to finish was made to feel welcome and all the staff were very attentive .

Came here for a visit with my elderly parents, one of which is a wheelchair user. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and found us a suitable table quickly. We were served at our table and the food and drinks were brought to us promptly. The drinks were really tasty and presently beautifully and the food was delicious. We were able to pay at the table. I have been here many times and always found the food and service to be fantastic. It can get very busy at times but that just goes to show what a fantastic place it is and it’s well worth a few minutes extra wait. This is not my local park cafe, I live close to a very big and beautiful park but it’s cafe it’s not the best so I travel to visit The Pavillion. It’s well worth a visit!! This is a park cafe so will have families and children in there. Everyone is welcome. However, I noticed a review saying this place was too cliquey and not welcoming. I completely disagree and suggest that the person writing the review needs to sit themselves on the naughty step and learn how to speak nicely to and about other people. Maybe they also need to learn about patience and that the whole world doesn’t revolve around them. Everyone is welcome and everyone is equal. If children were there before you then tough, wait until they have finished. My 80 year old parents didn’t have a problem with children being there because it’s a park cafe and children go to the park.

Prices have increased somewhat, making this a conscious choice to visit rather than just dropping in. Example being Panini's are nearly £6, no salad or chips/crisps included. Toasties are £5+. Still as tidy and clean as always, with fast service which is welcomed
