If you want everything to be state of the art don’t bother. The food is decent, well priced and service impeccable. Not modern and not complicated, but a Cross Gates institution and worth your money.
Always amazing food and service. They make you feel like part of the family. Our kids aged 12,13 and 18 adore this restaurant. We have been visiting for over 15 years and still in our top 5.

This is a family run business that my family has been going to for the last 25 years and I love it try for yourself.
Food was good and staff lovely but need to work on the Covid precautions. no hand sanitizer, still using reusable menus, staff not wearing masks and no attempt at collecting contact Tracing info.
I have eaten here several times. The food is excellent and the service is very professional.
The only reason I haven't awarded 5 Stars is because the restaurant is up some very steep stairs.

East India restaurant is definitely my favourite restaurant in east Leeds- have been multiple times now and every time it is exceptional, both the food and the experience. The staff are so kind and helpful, would definitely recommend.
The service was absolutely fantastic the whole experiance was great, as my first time I will deffo be coming back overall new experience for me the food and service all I can say it Fantastic. Deffo gunner be referring people to go.
