My favourite place in Leeds. Cosy, coffee available inside, lots of snugly places to explore the books and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

Well managed book signing for Bruce Dickinson staff kept you informed of what was going on. Despite the queues they enter down without too much waiting.

Love this Waterstones. Well stocked and runs some nice little events. Been to a quiz and a signing now, both of which were enjoyable. Hope it continues!

Great for a book mooch, and the coffee shop on the second floor is excellent. It's a quiet oasis away from the hustle of Leeds.

Even though I arrived quarter of an hour after the Bruce Dickinson event started I was glad that I managed to get in. The staff were all professional at their jobs, from the security staff making sure everyone had copies of the book, sorting out the dedications, keeping people informed about not blocking the entrance to the store, but what really won it for me was when my book had been signed I went away to see the photo of the moment to find... nothing! I checked through my album, but there was nothing. So I raised it with the staff and they were so good at making sure I didn't leave empty handed that I almost felt guilty for breaking the "no posed photo" rule, but I can't thank the staff enough for making sure that I was able to have a photo after the first effort didn't save.

The cafe in Waterstones is always my highlight anytime I visit Waterstones. It’s definitely a good idea to grab a coffee/ hot chocolate while you relax and read/study.

Great sized store just opposite the NCP car park for The Core, multiple floors with a wide selection of books in all genres, including one of the larger sci-fi/fantasy sections that I have seen in a general bookstore. Friendly staff willing to go above and beyond to help you find a book and there is even a cafe on the upper floor where you can get a coffee and jump straight into your new read.

Staff here are super nice and helpful. They always have great deals on. Always have amazing displays on the front windows. Not the biggest Waterstones but still has everything you need and they’re happy to order in books they don’t have for you!

Large store where you could happily browse for hours, with something for everyone. A hundred times better than surfing on Amazon. Use book stores or lose them!

Great selection of books. Friendly staff. Only downside is the store is over 3/4 floors and the kids section is on the second floor so although it's great as no kids can easily escape getting up there in a pram is time consuming as everyone appears to use the lift

Waterstones is always a great experience - but Waterstones Leeds ? Man, that tops them. Wonderful presentation of the staff's favourites - lots of inspiration for fiction across all different genres. Come and spend the day at Watersones Leeds!
