First visit the other evening and have to say what an amazing experience decided to eat in and not take away great decision food was amazing and fresh hospitality was fantastic and great value for money.

Had an incredible experience, the place has completely changed under the new management since last year. We happened to go in by chance and were really surprised by the great service. The team was very pleasant and brought ice cream for the little one. They were attentive and the taste was very delicious. We ordered the Tawa for two and thinking it may have a small portion ordered one dish extra too but the tawa was quite large.
Overall good food, good service. We took the Tawa for 2 and chicken tikka. The seekh kebabs felt a bit rubbery and wasn't fresh, chicken wings didn't feel freshly cooked. But the curry, daal and naan was tasty and fresh. Total came to 19.95, value for money. I like their connection with Dukes brining some much needed freshness to their decor and also choice of desserts.
I was at the restaurant frequently and also order food because of the taste and the portion size.
The restaurant owners are amazing. I called them (for a take away order) to mention about the spice, that’s when they recognised me and gave me a complimentary donut.

Went there 2 days ago although it wasn't a planned visit there as we were just looking for a food place for dinner on that road and stopped there and found that place really good in all aspects.
A small restaurant but very attractive environment, awesome food taste, attentive and friendly staff. Ordered 1 mix platter, one mix seafood curry and drink (they gave one free icecream scoop to my 1.5 year baby). Will definitely go there again
I've ordered takeaway and dined too. Great food, friendly staff, overall good value for money. Each time the order is personally take care to our taste buds by checking the spice levels before it is made. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to try authentic Indian cuisine.
This has been a consistently good restaurant for many years. Food is of a high quality, spices produce subtly blended flavours. Freshly cooked and well presented. Staff always friendly. Decor in dining room could do with an upgrade. Prices competitive. Probably the best Indian restaurant on the Roundhay Road.
We first visited Raja's a few years ago when we wanted a non halal Indian restaurant. We weren't disappointed and until Covid reached our shores, we were frequent visitors. Gorgeous food, cosy and friendly atmosphere and attentive staff. Unfortunately, when we enquired about it still being non halal last night, we were disappointed to hear it wasn't the case now. So disappointed as it was the only one in Leeds.
I've been going to Raja's for many years and it never fails to please. The range of freshly cooked dishes is excellent and there is always an interesting special or two to sample. Desi chicken is my particular favourite. The service is prompt, friendly and polite and Raja himself is almost always there too. I have tried other Indian restaurants around Leeds and Bradford but never found anywhere to match the food and atmosphere at Raja's.
Called in to sample the food for a later visit and was not disappointed.
Firstly met at the counter by who turned out to be the owner. A very friendly man who asked me how hot i wanted my meal as we chatted. The food turned out to be absolutely delicious, just the right amount of heat and flavour which you could tell was freshly prepared, absolutely perfect will definitely be calling back.
Looking for a change of takeaway because my regular local one wasn't up to par. Read reviews and this didn't disappoint.. worth the extra miles to get there.. my new indian!

Just been there yesterday the food was amazing and the service was really really good the man always smiling asked us few times if we need anything i have need been in anywhere like that the staff was so respectful and as a gift he gave us two pieces of cake we recommend %100
We ordered from here using Deliveroo. Plenty of good vegetarian choices for me. Lots of meat inc, including a few more adventurous things like goat, for my husband. I got the Paneer Makhani which was absolutely DELICIOUS! Beautiful sauce, rich & flavourful without being too spicy if you're a wuss like me! The Malai Kofta was similarly delicious & relatively mild.
The Herbal Chicken & Chicken Chatt were more medium (although you can choose your spice level for most dishes, which I love!) Hubby enjoyed them. The only disappointment were the naans. We split a mint and a garlic & coriander. Neither had much flavour, and were a bit pale & bland. Other than that though, lovely food and will order from here again!
Fab food, good price and great customer service! I was served so well, I felt like a dictator!! (I'm from London, so we moan and trust nobody, not like people up 'north'! Very friendly! Maybe the friendly' thing' is part of being from Yorkshire!!! :-)
